There's one hilarious one doing the rounds where a Port Vale player spears Stearman and somehow wins a free kick. That was him all game. Even the key decisions, first penalty is a dive and the red card is obviously not intentional, just stupid handbags. I've been going for 20 years and that referee was the worst one I've seen.
So Collins hitting the ground out of frustration and the port vale player holding his face to claim James had hit him deserves a straight red..come off it... Collins stupid yes,... play acting to get a player sent off should have been carded himself...the ref lost control of that game
@@Stringer13ell do you not think the play acting contributed to that... that's the whole idea to make it look like he'd caught him...I'm not defending what's happened and Collins was out of order in hitting the ground but this play acting happens all the time ..I watched the forest v villa the other night...and something similar happened....a villa player holding his face like he'd just been caught by Tyson fury, video replay showed he never touched him...and I hate forest at that 😂
I gave my season ticket to Steve after today, me and Craig won't be going anymore if we can't do enough kicks of the ball. Manager has to go in our opinion, the kicks aren't enough or good enough. Practice kicking Warney!

Very Unlucky Game today for us. The Ref was Poor with poor decisions all game and he only gave the first penalty because the port vale players surrounded him. I also think we lacked determination all through the second half. Any way let’s get onto the next game next week. COYR🐏
Never heard a set of fans blame the ref as much as this before. It's crazy. We won't be the worst team you loose to this year. I promise you that. Just take it for what it is and move on.
@@scarfo The main thing he got wrong is something that I've not even heard mentioned. Harrison should have probably gone for a second yellow. As for the others, was the hand ball pen wrong? Was the red wrong? Was the first pen (that we missed anyway)? I've listed the four biggest calls. 3 were right.

Seen the Collins incident so much, live, on twitter, ITV EFL highlights and here both slow mo and real time and replays derby put in. Never a red, doesn't make contact with the man, hits the floor with his hand and then pulls his hand out of the way, and then its easy to tell, if it wasn't easy to tell live, that the referee all game went off the decibels of the players and who reacted worse,. which is what Vale were great at for 90 mins. Same goes for the first penalty, no/minimal contact, not enough to go down under if any, but Vale reacted like they'd been shot and so penalty awarded. The handball was slightly more difficult to decipher as it could've been one of 3 different players as their shirts wasn't easily visible but I think that was the only one of the key calls which the officials got right but they (the officials) need some form of disciplinary action going on with them as they were far from good all game and got most things wrong, which shouldn't be allowed to happen at any level!
Management of DCFC and your friends of the FA, This is not a Circus and we are not some kind of a joke. Clean up your act now and fix up this situation otherwise you will get my full focus and attention sooner than the timeline I have already planned.
Stearman and Collins needed docking a months wages for that yesterday. Stearman putting your arm up that high is under 11s football. Collins although he was frustrated it's unacceptable. Max bird defended like a child leaving his leg in and they go straight past him, just stand your ground and hold your position, you don't just dive in. Very disappointing as that's cost us an easy 3 pts. Fuming
Surely you can't be serious. I will admit though, this is the first time since a few years ago that we (Vale) had a ref that gave us something. We hold the British record for the longest time gone without being awarded a penalty, 70 odd matches I think, so it was about damn time!
Ref clearly got the big calls right. Both penalties were penalties. The red card was a red card. The only reason derby lost is because they’re clearly worse than a club who were in league 2 last season. Enjoy many years of league 1
I was at the game we should have scored in the 6th minute and the ref was absolutely rubbish. Collins should gave got a pen. Silly from stearman. Wildsmith played well and so did Collins. He shouldn’t have been sent off. Also you can’t loose at home to port vale. Blame the ref.
