I was given a wonderful idea last year that I LOVE practicing. Once a month I write a one page note to my “sister soul self” about what I’m doing, feeling, reading, thinking about. I actually mail it to myself and when it arrives I put it in a pretty box I’ve made. On New Year’s Eve I open the notes and read about my year, reminding myself about all I’ve experienced. It’s amazing to read an encapsulated version of the year and all the little details I might have otherwise have forgotten. Thank you for your always inspiring work and gentle soul.
You made me realize the influence of self talk: Not only they way I criticized myself but also the way I criticized others, especially people who hurt me, prevents me from forgiving and moving on ! Thank you !
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Negative self talk can create more negative energy, towards oneself as well as others, like you said :) Wishing you the best with your goals!
Taking walks really helps me to unwind: I can focus on myself and my surroundings, practice gratitude for the day and don't have the feeling of being "unproductive" because I get some steps in.
I have decided to do what I WANT rather than I SHOULD especially where work/commitments are concerned. I will be 61 this year and need to accept limitations more and I believe the above is the way to do it. Blessings from Scotland. i love your channel. thank you xxx
These are all very good and helpful. I think these habits can sometimes vary from person to person . For example one of the biggest self care habit for me is to look good.getting my hair done, manicure etc really makes me feel centered and deeply happy. Thanks for sharing
I think the most needed self care for me, this year, is quality boundaries that include clear communication and deep consideration. Having to think through what I am ok with and not ok with and why is going to be an adventure.
Breaks are so important! I also need about 10-15 minutes per hour or so of work or I get a bit off. It actually makes me more productive than trying to power through hours on end. Work days are too long anyway so I make my own hour reduction within my scheduled shift. Every review I get told I'm super proactive and productive so it works for me. Weekly, I have one off day spent on self-care (facial, manicure, scrub, shampoo and deep condition) and domestic duties (laundering, cleaning, grocery shopping, and ingredient prep). This isn't really a break but it resets everything so I'm prepared for the week. The next day off is totally for leisure and relaxation. I can do nothing, be social, work on hobbies, whatever. I like the quarterly week off. If only my job would allow it. I need to work on more travel.
I love being outdoors and I live in Southern California, where the weather is almost always mild. I live less than a mile from where I work, so when the weather isn’t too hot or too cold or rainy, I like to walk to work. It’s my time to enjoy my pretty town and the green hills. It’s also my solitude, as my family realty doesn’t like walking. I use it as a way to decompress before I get home to my teenagers. I want to do more of that this year. :) Happy New Year, Vera!
I missed you Vera, I havent watched one of your videos in a while because i was overwhelmed and not on TH-cam much, but it feels so good to be back. THank you.
I definitely need to work on the negative self talk. I’m very hard on myself and it actually makes me take care of myself less. I recognize the ‘voice’ in my head is actually counter productive however if I focus on my thoughts I can turn them around to positive. I just have to be intentional. Thank you Vera for your inspirational ideas as they continue to feed my desire to slow down and value what is truly valuable.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts Krista. It all comes down to believing that positive self talk is what you deserve and will serve you the best going forward :) Take care and happy new year! 🤗🍾💕✨ My best wishes for 2022
Some tasks will wait - prioritize! Sometimes tasks take longer than expected and there are interruptions that require attention right away. This is life. You don’t have control over everything and that’s OK.
Positive self talk is so important as are the other tips you gave. I really want to stop ruminating on things in 2022, I’m going to really try. Happy new year to you Vera
I just signed up for your “unhurried” 30 day course and I’m so excited for it! Thank you for your organized, calmness, and inspiring videos. Happy New Year ~ 2022!! 🥳💛
Thank you so much Elizabeth and welcome to Unhurried! 🤗🌺 I wish you lots of fun over the next 30 days. Feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions. And of course Happy New Year to you as well 🤗🍾💕✨
Happy New Year! These were wonderful ideas.Screen time is my biggest time/energy suck and after my morning yoga , and watching you and a few other positive channels,I will probably sign off for the day.
Happy New Year to you too! 🍃💕🍵✨🍹 I think that's great, it could be very helpful to have it like a concrete boundary like that, so it's easier to stick to :) Wishing you all the best for 2022 🍃💕🍵✨🍹
I'm currently on the journey of learning to manage my chronic illness, and these were all really good reminders for me. So often self care tips are things I'm not physically capable of doing anymore. But this video has such a great focus on just being gentle and kind to yourself. I really love the way you've approached this topic. Thank you!
Happy to hear you enjoyed the video and found it helpful Amy :) I think self care should be things (almost) everyone will be able to do. It doesn't take much, just a bit of patience, self love and being kinder towards oneself, I think that's where the real magic happens :) Wishing you all the best for 2022 and I hope you'll do lots of self care :)
I’m going to continue paying attention to my body, so it doesn’t have to force me to take time and care for myself. Self-care is not selfish, as my son told me in 2018. “No.” That is a complete sentence, and it’s okay to say to others and ourselves without feeling guilty.
One of my goals this year is to define and implement some healthy boundaries for me. And I definently think taking intentional breaks and having screen free time is part of what I need: not being available to other people all the time is something I need to be better at, but just saying that is very vague and not an action plan, but things like telling people that I don't look at my screens late and they schouldn't expect and answer from me after that, is an actual step in the plan. Thank you for that idea. Already trying to do that, but hopefully I this year can get all those things more defined and deliberate.
Thank you so much for sharing and I absolutely agree about being more concrete about your boundaries, letting people know what they can and can't expect from you. Makes it more clear for them, as well as for yourself :) Good luck!
A lot of spiritual teachers predicted 2021 to be a year with the theme "Resilience", and I saw a lot of them saying that "To Simplify" is the theme of 2022. Your TH-cam channel supports allowing both of these themes to have a place in our lives, I really appreciate that. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space of learning 🙏🏻
Thank you Vera i always love your channel, you are like a friend i never feel preached at, so i hope you will have a very blessed year and prosperous one too.
Happy New Year! It’s going to be a wonderful year, one full of positive change in my life. I’m 58 years old and it’s time to begin a new chapter in my life! Thank you for inspiring me! God bless!
Happy new year, Vera ✨ I bought myself the self care wisdom cards by Cheryl richardson and her book extreme Self care. I want to draw one card in the morning after getting up and take that specific self care advice for the day. Also I started reading the book. I want to continue to keep my Friday free until my kids come home from school. I like your idea of having one week of in a quarter year. That could be a great opportunity for me who has no 9 to 5 job and no holidays but two people in my family with very special needs. I ve been burned out free years in a row now, there has to be a change. My body is already suffering very badly from no self care. I'll try my best.
Happy New Year to you too Angela! 🍃💕🍵✨🍹 Wishing you all the best with your goals for more self care and more time off in 2022. I think it's great that you realized something has to change for you, and that you're doing your best to take good care of yourself. That's all you can do :) Hope you'll have lots of lovely self care moments this year
My intention for 2022 is to approach every day with more gentle, positive curiosity. The image that dawned on me when I was thinking about this was a cabinet of curiosities vs a puzzle. By this I mean that I've so far largely seen my life as a puzzle - things have to fit perfectly, there's one single answer for each piece. Though I love to do puzzles for fun, I realized it wasn't helping me to see life in this way, and instead I'd like to look at it as more of an interesting collection of things. Not "yes this is 100% right" or "no this is wrong" but a "hmm, that's fascinating" attitude behind every day.
Sharing because I find this interesting - not to shame. I was recently talking to a pediatrician, who shared that studies have come out linking screen time before bed to night terrors in children regardless of whether the screen time itself depicted anything “scary”. They haven’t yet defined why there is a link, but are hypothesizing that it has something to do with the way a screen projects changing lights at such a quick speed. I’m wondering if it may have a similar negative effect on adults. Definitely taking a look at my screen usage this year - especially before bed.
One of my goals for this year is to declutter each aspect of my life: my room, my computer, and my mind. I'm trying to declutter one item a day in my room and so far, I've only managed half the days of the year... But I'm not giving up on that or myself. I knew it'd be hard to make a habit of, so I'm not criticizing myself as much so far. Surprisingly, I think the hardest is forcing myself to declutter my files...
Positive self talk is my really weak side.I often practice negative self talk and I`m definitelly gonna try to change that, allthough from this point it will be hard because It` s my habbit. Not intentionally but when I make mistake, even small one...but I`ll try to stop😊
Thanks for sharing Viki! :) No worries, it just means you'll have lots of chances to practice with noticing your self talk and switching it around to something more positive :)
Controlling self-talk is SO important, and it's also quite challenging - I'm getting better at it, but it certainly takes time and commitment. Very good video on self-care!!
Happy New Year Vera 💜 A wonderful message as always. I don't do resolutions, but I have made a promise to be kinder to myself this year; I have several chronic illnesses, which have forced a slower lifestyle that I haven't always easily embraced; that need (learned message) to always be busy, and the idea that I'm failing if I'm not, took a long time to shake. Over the last few months, I've found the best and kindest thing I can say to myself on those difficult days, is that it's OK if I do nothing today. I plan to complete one simple thing - which might be as basic as getting dressed. And strangely, it often happens that I get more done than I thought possible. And if I only manage my one thing, that's fine. 🥰
It seems as if my self-talk continues to improve because of how often I see my counselor when it gets bad, but on days when I'm not aware of it or just brush it off like it's nothing, I do notice how it impacts my mood over time- especially in the way of how I respond to different situations within the different relationships I have, either personally or professionally. Thank you for these very important reminders, Vera!
You're very welcome Amy, I think it's great you're noticing how your self talk affects you and how it can be different depending on circumstances. No one has to be perfect, even with something kind like positive self talk :) So it can be small and simple. Everyone deserves to look at themselves in a kind way and appreciate how hard they're trying. Wishing you all the best for 2022 Amy, thank you so much for all your support, I really appreciate it 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
Happy New Year Vera to you and your loved ones and to everyone else reading! I just purchased your decluttering ebook! I am actually looking forward to this year as it feels like one where lots of goals will be met and metaphorical mountains climbed. Thank you so much for all of the great content last year!!
Thank you so much Francine, Happy New Year!!! 🤗🍾💕✨ Wishing you and yours all the best for 2022, what you said about this year resonated with me :) Thank you also for purchasing my decluttering ebook, I wish you lots of fun with it and feel free to let me know if you ever have any questions!
Happy new year, Vera.🥰 You are the person who literally changed my life. Your mindful meal idea you mentioned in one of your previous videos was the best habit I ever adopted. It's like meditation when I am left alone with my thoughts, emotions and food. It's a time for my mind to just be. It recharges me like nothing else.I look forward to that time of the day now.
Hi Vera thank you I like the idea of scheduling breaks I’m guilty of doing more than being? Giving myself some loving kindness more is my goal ❤️ Happy New Year all the best for 2022 🤗
Hi Therese, Happy New Year my friend!!! 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾 Thanks for all your lovely comments. I think it's great you've decided to work on giving yourself more loving kindness, wishing you all the best with this goal!
happy new year VERA ! i'm glad i had the chance to discover your channel ,through approximatively two years your tips and advice helped me simplify my life and take care of my self .Thank you so much!
Thank you so much and Happy New Year to you too! So glad to hear my videos have been helpful for you these last two years. Wishing you all the best for 2022
Thank you so much for this video! I will definitely follow these habits. One of my habits that I'll be working on this year is to prioritize myself. I tend to put others before me and unfortunately, I end up getting affected mentally and physically. I end up rushing into getting my tasks done. So this year, I will help only if I can and if I want to. I will put myself 1st.
You're very welcome and I think it's awesome you're going to work on that this year. :) It's a cliché but true, we have to put on our own oxygen mask first, before we're able to keep helping others. Take care, wishing you all the best for 2022 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
Happy New Year! Trying my best to learn to change the self-talk in my head. Have been working on it for several years and still can't seem to break the habit of criticizing myself for not "being good enough."
Hi Pippy, Happy New Year to you too! I think a lot of people have very high demands of themselves, and frequently feel bad about not meeting them. But I think it's great that you're working on changing the self-talk in your head :) Maybe also with this specific thing, it could be helpful to realize that you don't have to be perfect at the self talk part. That it's okay to not 'do it well' all the time and forgive yourself when you realize you've been critizing yourself. It's funny because sometimes positive things like positive self talk or self care can start to feel like an impossible goal we have to meet all the time, creating stress by themselves, when that's not really the point at all :) It's perfectly okay how it's going, and you can appreciate yourself for trying as hard as you are :) Hope this makes sense haha. Take care and wishing you all the best for 2022 🍃💕🍵✨🍹
Being a busy mum to 4 kids, I want to try to develop more self care in my day and better self talk for 2022. I'm also keen on having a more clutter free lifestyle too which is quite hard to achieve with kids. I've found your videos such a positive influence in my life, you have a lovely way about yourself. Keep up the great videos. Happy New Year
Thank you so much for your kind comment Rosie and Happy New Year to you too! Wishing you all the best for 2022, and lots of luck with your goals for more self care and less clutter. Feel free to check out my Decluttering & Home playlist if you ever need some decluttering inspiration. I know there are also moms with kids on TH-cam who talk about decluttering when you have kids around, so perhaps their videos could also be helpful for you :) Take care and have a lovely day!
Once again you know what we all need to start this New Year. I need to practice more self care. I am a person who will run myself ragged to help others. I want to practice that not everything has to look or be a certain way. I want to be able to freely go with the flow. I want to recognize all of the wonderful things that are in my life not the things that wrong. Looking for that positive outlook. Happy Happy New Year to you and yours and all that are out there trying to make a difference. ☮️🥂🥳🤗🌷♥️🌟
Thank you so much for your kind words Jennie, and I love what you shared about your goals for this year. Sending you lots of good vibes and remember that everything is already good as it is, things are as they should be, and you're allowed to let go of the reins and just live your days, without having everything be perfect all the time :)
Happy New Year! Love all your videos. I listen to them on my way to work everyday. I have learned how to declutter slow down be content be happy and you have been a huge part of that and helping me reset my mind. I hope 2022 is a great year for all of us!
Thank you so much for your kind comment Kim, so happy to hear my videos have been helpful for you! Wishing you all the best for 2022 with lots of self care moments 🤗🍵🌻🌺
Awww, Vera, happy New year and all blessing to you this year. 😇🙏 What a lovely, relaxing, grounding, positively vibrating video you created for us, thank you! You look beautifully radiant, and besides the valuable content it's so soothing to take in the visuals and your lively, calming voice. May this year bring you many moments of such peaceful, creative and centred state you revealed in this video 😊🌷
Happy 2022 Scheduling my breaks might just be something that can help me organize the productive part of my life, and hopefully lead to feeling less guilty about unproductive times when I feel I’m supposed to be getting stuff done! Tnx for another insightful and serene video.
Happy New Year, Vera & friends! Thanks for the emphasis on awareness the inner critic. We can be our best friend if we want to give it a try. Peace in 22!
You got the mail on the head for me when you said to talk better to yourself! I'm always putting myself down & my hubby is always telling me to stop it so I shall definitely take this away from your video. Thank you Vera & happy New year to you & your partner 😍
You're very welcome Patricia and no worries, it just means you'll have lots of opportunities to practice positive self talk :) Happy New Year to you adn your husband!
Happy new year, I'm loving your videos, thank you I've made so many chances. But could you tell me more about tea? Which ones do you buy? And find are good for you ?
Happy New Year! Thanks so much for your kind comment. I drink lots of fresh herbal tea, but my favorite is loose leaf Japanese green tea. :) I talk about my favorite kind in this video: th-cam.com/video/tJSBNmul2OE/w-d-xo.html
I am a new subscriber and am inspired by your list of self care habits - some of which I already practice (eg short breaks) but others which I will definitely focus on more (reduce electronics). One more habit I would add to your list is “connecting with others regularly”. Whether it is family or friends, being in the company of positive people is essential to building self worth and enjoyment in life. 🤗🇦🇺
Heart of Kentucky. Happy New Year beautiful Vera in the Netherlands. It's good to see you. I find that today is the beginning of a New Year, but I'm looking at every day as new beginning. So, I'll think about this. Love you Katie
Hi, Vera!... And Happy New Year to everyone... I am joining you in 2022 in scheduling more breaks in my life. Both daily, weekly & monthly... Love your channel & always look forward to enjoying each new video. Feels like we are meeting for a morning coffee chat!... Denise ✨😎✨
I really loved your point about self talk, that is sooo important to talk about! My theme of this year is "let go" and that's what I plan for self-care: let go of expectations (of me and others), limiting beliefs, hurtful negative self-talk, long list of things to do etc. ☺💛 Wish you all the best for the New Year 🥳
I definitely need to stop the negative self talk. It has the power to ruin my day, and it does. It’s almost as if I need permission not to do it. I am very very hard on myself, so hearing I should stop doing it, gives me the “ok” to stop. I also feel that if I feel good about myself and the way things are going, I am jinxing myself. I’m always waiting for the negative. Really stressful.
I’m happiest when I’m getting more done, however, it needs to be specific to the best outcomes. It’s important to say no to imposed tasks that take me away from the top priorities of educating children and children’s well-being. Imposed tasks are often there to make others look good or do their work for them.
I am a little late on this video since i just found your channel about a month ago. But I am working on the screen time. The morings I am noton my phone for about the 1st hour of the day because I am getting ready for the day. Its at night that I fail. So I am tryin to do better. And oneof the others is the Asking for help. I groew up with a dad who when you asked for help he would say back "Well how should it be done?" Or "Show me how to do it." So I just stopped asking for helpand its a hard habit to unlearn.
Happy New Year Vera 🌸 I’d be doing more of the positive self talk. And giving time for myself, since I have been too much on the give give give side last year. Not to forget doing all this without being guilty!!
Happy New Year to you too Ramya 🍃💕🍵✨🍹 Wishing you all the best for 2022. Hope you'll have lots of breaks and time for yourself this year, no need to feel guilty about it :) Enjoy!
What a lovely way to start out the new year! ✨ Starting another round of Unhurried today and for the month of January. I’ll likely revisit In Love with Your Life after that.
Thank you so much for your kind comment Cristina and happy new year to you too! 🤗🍾💕✨ So happy to hear you're enjoying my videos, wishing you all the best for 2022
Hi Vera, once again wishes for the new year. As for myself, point 1 of allowing breaks by the hour is something I've started this year. I used to have yearly breaks for a week to rejunevate. But COVID put a stop to that 😀. So I am concentrating on short breaks. And as for positive self talk, ( point 5), I' ve seriously started noting that for quite sometime. I have not fully stopped criticising myself, but at least I've started appreciating myself for what I did at the end of the day. Did not realise the effect of this earlier. But for some months now, I've been looking at my inner self to see where I can be better. Being human, I know I can't be 100% flawless, but this is way better than the way I had been. Once again, thank you, my friend, for being such a motivation for me.
Thank you so much Jana, I love that you're working on these things! We all deserve to look at ourselves in a positive light and appreciate how hard we're trying. No one is perfect and no one has to be :) Wishing you all the best for 2022, I hope you'll have a year with lots and lots of self care 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
Love your video, we often forget to take a break for just relaxing without feeling guilty. We tend to run after achieving to do list. Thanks for this reminder and happy new year for you too, best wishes for you and much success for your channel growth
Thank you so much for your kind comment and I absolutely agree, we all need breaks and there's no need to feel guilty about taking them :) Have a wonderful 2022 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
Happy New Year Vera I loved this video for self care this year I will be making more time just for me ie. Spending time relaxing a whole day in each week to relax and breathe thank you so much for your awesome vids Vera💜
this video was the first video that I watched from your chinal I loved it so much you talk very beautiful and softly I can understand very well I hitted the subscribe button and liked your video before you wrapped the video☺
Happy New Year Vera! I really appreciate your tips. Self talk is something my therapist brought up many times and the importance of it and I was so amazed how much difference it makes once I started doing this.
Happy New Year, lovely Vera! 🥂 I wish to enjoy lots more of your videos this coming year. As for self care, I reckon that the self-talk one is the most difficult for me. That is definitely something to work on in 2022 and after!
These are the things I’ve realized recently which made a great impact. Suddenly it feels like I’m living a life full of joy. Thank you for bringing attention to them, Vera. I can easily say that watching/following your videos has been a game changer for me. :) Always looking forward to your videos- especially the self care talks!
Thank you so much for your kind words :) So happy to hear my videos have made a difference for you! Wishing you all the best for 2022 with lots and lots of self care 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
A wonderful, happy and healthy New Year to you and your family Vera! Thank you for sharing this video. I really need to work this year on positive self-talk and stop overscheduling my days. And not be superhard on myself if I fall back into my old habits for just a bit. Thank you for the reminder. I'll keep working at it.♥️
Hi Kimberly, wishing you a wonderful and happy 2022 as well 🍃💕🍵✨🍹 Happy to hear you're going to work on positive self talk and taking enough breaks. Like you said, it's perfectly okay to fall into old habits occassionally, the only thing you have to do is notice it and make some changes again, so absolutely no need to be hard on yourself for it :) Sending you a big hug
Happy New Year Vera! I need to learn to put down the phone and pick up a book... that's how I would like to be ending my days. Turning off shouldn't be so hard!!!!
Putting my phone away (silent mode, other side of the room) and reading my book is how I end 99% of my days :) It's amazing, and I'll fall asleep quickly. Hope you'll like it just as much! My best wishes for you for 2022, thank you for all your support 🤗🍾💕✨
I want to come back to doing yoga every day because I know that will get the snowball of listening inwards to roll which then get me more connected to my center and what I fell is important. I also would love to not take things to personal, I easily fall into negative thinking when communication via text or messenger isn't smooth. Easily interpret it to.be that the other person doesn't really care about me when the true reason could be just s lack of time or energy at the other person to really take the time to explain. And my mind makes up this story that isn't true.
Happy New Year Siri and wishing you all the best with your goals this year! 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾 Like you said, try not to jump to conclusions about what others could mean in their communication, the chances are very high it doesn't have anything to do with you. :) And if you're unsure, you could always ask them directly, instead of ruminating on it :) Have a wonderful 2022!
Happy New Year Vera! I hope you had a great start of the year!! Thank you for a wonderful video as always. This video will help me a lot as I want to focus on myself much more in 2022. I know, putting others first is a good thing, but sometimes it makes me feel exhausted... So in this year, I try not to forget to put myself first time to time!
Thank you Yuriko and Happy New Year to you too! ✨🌿🌻✨ I wish you all the best with your goals and I think it's great you're working on focusing more on yourself. Take care and have a lovely day!

Happy new year 2022 ✨ 🎊 🎆 And thank you very much for these great tips 💝
ho,,now you wanna to be my teacher and get my attention ?
I was given a wonderful idea last year that I LOVE practicing. Once a month I write a one page note to my “sister soul self” about what I’m doing, feeling, reading, thinking about. I actually mail it to myself and when it arrives I put it in a pretty box I’ve made. On New Year’s Eve I open the notes and read about my year, reminding myself about all I’ve experienced. It’s amazing to read an encapsulated version of the year and all the little details I might have otherwise have forgotten. Thank you for your always inspiring work and gentle soul.
This sounds so nice, I wanna try it too^^
Wow, I love that idea. I wonder if what you focus on as you write changes as you engage in the practice over the months and years.
Absolutely love that idea, thank you for sharing!!!
That is a great idea! Thanks for sharing!😃
😇😇😇😇🥰🥰
You made me realize the influence of self talk: Not only they way I criticized myself but also the way I criticized others, especially people who hurt me, prevents me from forgiving and moving on ! Thank you !
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Negative self talk can create more negative energy, towards oneself as well as others, like you said :) Wishing you the best with your goals!
I needed to hear this!!! Thank you for your comment.
Taking walks really helps me to unwind: I can focus on myself and my surroundings, practice gratitude for the day and don't have the feeling of being "unproductive" because I get some steps in.
One of my New Year resolutions is to kick my sugar addiction as much as possible.
Good luck Paula!
This year would like to schedule more time for reading/meditation on the Bible. Thanks for your great ideas. Always helpful!
Thank you Debbie, wishing you all the best with these goals! 📗
Negative self-talk is definitely something I do often.
No worries, it makes for lots of chances to practice :)
I have decided to do what I WANT rather than I SHOULD especially where work/commitments are concerned. I will be 61 this year and need to accept limitations more and I believe the above is the way to do it. Blessings from Scotland. i love your channel. thank you xxx
Love that, thank you for sharing!! Doing what you want rather than what you should :) Take care and wishing you all the best for 2022 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
Vera, you are looking more beautiful every day and your hair is looking amazing. XO from Australia!

That sounds absolutely wonderful Kristin :) I wish you all the best for 2022 and I hope you'll have lots of lovely walks 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾
I missed you Vera,
I havent watched one of your videos in a while because i was overwhelmed and not on TH-cam much, but it feels so good to be back. THank you.
Welcome back Samara, hope you're doing better! :)
Absolutely love this and completely agree :)
See am best i night when energis is lower.easy overwhelming and think am lasy .thank you for this is helping a lot
Being mindful of Self talk is so important as a part self care. Thx
I agree :) Thanks Patti, have a nice day!
I am going into the end from an abusive relationship. I will try to implement this tips
I can relate. It’s not easy…ask for help. I wish you well.
Positive self talk is so important as are the other tips you gave. I really want to stop ruminating on things in 2022, I’m going to really try. Happy new year to you Vera
Happy New Year to you too Lynby, wishing you all the best for 2022 with lots of breaks and tea and positive self talk (and very little ruminating 🤗💕)
Exactly! :)
You have sucha an angelical face that fits right in with minimalism and the whole color palet of your videos, it's soothing to watch it. :)
💥Happy New Year 2022💥 Enjoy a Fruitful, Healthy n Amazing year ahead 🌄 💖🎄🍹🥂🌠
Thank you so much and Happy New Year to you too! 🤗🌺🌻✨🍾 Wishing you all the best for 2022
A lot of spiritual teachers predicted 2021 to be a year with the theme "Resilience", and I saw a lot of them saying that "To Simplify" is the theme of 2022. Your TH-cam channel supports allowing both of these themes to have a place in our lives, I really appreciate that. Thank you for providing such a wonderful space of learning 🙏🏻
Thank you so much! That's really nice to hear :) Happy New Year!

Happy new year everyone, a fresh start 🌱, make it a time of love for yourself and others 💝
Happy New Year to you and your family too, thanks for all the good vibes! 🤗🍾💕✨
Happy new year, Vera ✨
I bought myself the self care wisdom cards by Cheryl richardson and her book extreme Self care.
I absolutely love that, very refreshing! Thanks for sharing Laura, I wish you all the best with this in 2022! 🍃💕🍵✨🍹
I can definitely see how that could impact us as adults as well :) Very interesting, thank you for sharing!
I want to focus on self talk and give myself more grace.
That's wonderful :) Wishing you all the best with that in 2022!
Controlling self-talk is SO important, and it's also quite challenging - I'm getting better at it, but it certainly takes time and commitment. Very good video on self-care!!
Thank you for sharing Mary and wishing you all the best for 2022!
@@SimpleHappyZen Your vlogs have really been a big part of my life the last two years - thank you Vera! ❤
I want to have less screentime after and before sleep, thanks for the reminder! :)
You're very welcome Sian, good luck with that goal! And of course happy new year! 🤗🍾💕✨
@@SimpleHappyZen Happy New Year Vera!! :)
I love that message, thank you so much for sharing it. Wishing you all the best for 2022!
What a great video to start the new year with!,thank you, Vera. I need to get better at self talk.
Thank you so much! :) That means you'll have plenty of opportunities to practice :)
Oh I love that, thank you so much for letting me know! Wishing you a wonderful new year Sana

happy new year VERA ! i'm glad i had the chance to discover your channel ,through approximatively two years your tips and advice helped me simplify my life and take care of my self .Thank you so much!

I really loved your point about self talk, that is sooo important to talk about! My theme of this year is "let go" and that's what I plan for self-care: let go of expectations (of me and others), limiting beliefs, hurtful negative self-talk, long list of things to do etc. ☺💛
Wish you all the best for the New Year 🥳

I definitely need to stop the negative self talk. It has the power to ruin my day, and it does. It’s almost as if I need permission not to do it. I am very very hard on myself, so hearing I should stop doing it, gives me the “ok” to stop. I also feel that if I feel good about myself and the way things are going, I am jinxing myself. I’m always waiting for the negative. Really stressful.
This is beautiful, i will keep and practice this in my life
Thank you, have a lovely day!
@@SimpleHappyZen you too, happy new year!
Happy New Year!! 🎊🎆 I hope 2022 will be an amazing year for you, your boyfriend and your family!! ❤️❤️

Happy New Year Vera! 🎉💝 Big hello from Canada 😃⛄️❄️ Excellent self-care tips, thank you for your wonderful videos! 🥰
You're very welcome and Happy New Year to you too! 🤗🍾💕✨
