You are a very lucky fish owner! Very beautiful assortment of cichlids. (I can’t believe I actually witnessed that Kong parrot chase the dovii out his territory and the dovii cowered like a child!) very difficult to get these cichlid species to co-exist so well done. My only suggestion is that definitely find bigger flower pots if you can because I did see one of the Jaguars get stuck for a quick second trying to turn around in it and obviously they’re going to grow much bigger and the pot will not.. other than that I’m very impressed. Since the video was zoomed in for most of video I couldn’t get a good idea bout the size of this tank.. how many gallons is it!?
Never see them at PetSmart. Will have to go to an Aquarium and they look expensive. How do they get along with Convicts? That's all I have along with one large orange gold fish.
DOFA no possible way to have peace with these species... they don’t all belong together that’s the problem. But besides synspilum all the others are very aggressive and territorial. And will act accordingly. I think the tank needs much more cover and hiding spots... and needs to be larger

Gold fish shouldn't be kept in tropical water and not with cichlids that will bully them..
Lol those are not goldfish. They are blood parrot cichlids. Yes, you’re right that they’d destroy goldfish.
