How much line? What #? And how many grams did the lure weigh? I'm trying to optimize my Daiwa alphas sv tw800s combo because I'm planning to take it out for the first time today. 1st(WHICH ROD?) Now for rods to pair the reel with, I have 2 brand new medium-light bfs rods to choose from. A 7'1" St Croix Mojo Bass Trigon BFS rod and a 6'10" Cashion ICON bfs rod. I've never tested these rods out. In fact, I've never even removed them from the plastic they come in after you remove them from the cardboard shipping tube rods that come in. When I received these brand-new rods, they were basically just thrown in the corner of my room with all my other rods. I did take a quick peak and back into the cardboard tube they went. It's been 4 months, and they still sit in the corner of my room untouched in their original packaging 😆 🤣. I haven't had the time to take them out to even inspect the rods. Basically, I just ordered them, took them out of the shipping tubes and put them away for another day 😂(well, the St Croix MOJO Bass Trigon BFS rod was free). I was lucky with that. Baitfinesseempire.com felt terrible that St croix was taking so long, so Amir sent me a refund and said "don't worry about it man, you'll probably get the St croix rod. Every other customer who ordered this rod got theirs, so I'm sure you will eventually get yours. Just go ahead and keep it!" Amir from Baitfinesseempire.com truly cares about his customers and I still can't believe Amir hooked me up with the St Croix mojo Trigon BFS Rod for free of charge, all because St croix's warehouse was taking so long to ship out and wouldn't respond to Amir's messages. I felt bad that Amir from baitfinesseempire was going to lose money by giving me a free $200 rod, so I decided to buy the 6'10" Cashion ICON Series bfs rod, so he would make some money if none of that was his wrong doing. That was awesome, and Amir was just being a store Awsome and responsible store owner! Long stories, short, baitfinesseempire.com, are the best! Now back to my original question lol, I kinda went off track. I have my Daiwa alphas sv tw800s spooled with 59 meters of 10# Daiwa x8 Grand tied to 8# super FC Sniper for my leader. Oh, and I plan on throwing a 1/8oz mirco chatterbait(white) with 3.5 hogfarmer spunkshad in (Sexy shad) if that helps. Lmk what you're thoughts are asap as I'm planning to be on the water soon.
