I like how SRW T gave this guy some weight in his final attack and not necessarily fast af like in SRW V. Not to mention the vast amount of improvements made on the unit’s animation
So, the final attack one becomes closer to the original scene. The original armor purge scene left the leg boosters on Akito's Aste, and armors comes off slowly, but in V, he purge all off in one go and left with smol pink Aste with no boosters.
It's nice that they gave the Black Sarena that little tail attack which only uses 5 EN. I remember it being an ammo/EN hog in W, since its cannon attack is ammo-based and the Distortion Field rush was 30 EN. Also, making the armor purge not a one-time deal was useful as well.
to be fair, SRW T's version of the entirety of GGG and Black Selena are pale imitations of W's complete fucking brokenness. Black Selena: Three Layer Juggernaut that completely refreshes on every purge. Strong in all 3 layers. Combination Attack with Gai. Stupid high stats across the board because W. GGG: Every single unit has a high level of Prevail and Hero. every unit has at least 4 attacks. Big Volfogg has a second-life. All Six Dragons share upgrades and can split and recombine. All GGG Units outside of Gai can manipulate enemy stats in some way, Combo Attacks out the Ass, And every single GGG unit is Top-Tier endgame worthy.
The best about Akito atk is in my opinion is The/AFTER Armor Purge one. Even till this day SRW W still made it Look Menacing with Blood splashing out of the Enemy Mech Torso when He does that Move. While this does have that Atk Showing The part when His fist Penetrate directly within the enemies Torso, it's looks Badass for a Dynamic Kill. *But what I really Wish they did was Made the Purging attack a 1 time Deal, like When he breaks it off There's no putting it together until they Next stage.*
While other series have not been treated all that kindly in the PS4 trilogy, this is undeniably, by far, the best this particular unit has ever looked. Those animations are wonderful. Too bad this is still the worst sequel in mecha history and a horribly derailed character, and seeing it will never bring me any sort of happiness, but hey, the animations are great.
>the worst sequel Ahahaha You must watch Eureka Seven sequels, especially movie which takes its time to shit on specific scenes from TV Series with astonishing degree of cynicism. PoD has some big problems, but it's nowhere near the worst sequel. In fact, it's not really a sequel at all. It's a different story which writers mistakenly tried to present as a "sequel" to the fans of Nadesico and got all kinds of shit for that.
@@kimba4962 I've blocked E7 AO from my mind and nothing you say can ever remove that block. It never happened, and I'm happier that way. I wish I could say the same about PoD but SRW must keep reminding me about it.

yeah, too bad they didn't improve the whole moveset while they're at it but it's still nice
> Throws off black, menacing armor
> real robot is moe moe pink
Pink Aesti is one of the most badass on SRW.
It was his Aesti in the original Nadesico afterall.
At least. The crying look like face more realistic
its magent- wait wrong show
Fear those who can fight effectively in pink man
Wow... that last attack was basically an upgrade to the previous game and I love it!
I miss the damaged arm from the last one but it's straight better otherwise.

sadly, nothing, in my mind, will top srw w's version of the black sarana.

Awesome final attack as usual. I was wrong before how they didn’t include it.

V did a decent job fixing it.
@@harry_ord If any SRW did the best job of fixing PoD, it's W.
@@MarikoKusumi never played W. Prince of darkness had a lot of room for improvement so I can believe it
