The Earth Kingdom had to suffer the Fire Nation invasion AND Appa's grazing. They have been through enough. I can't imagine how they could afford to feed him otherwise.

I felt like three seasons was a little short for ATLA. I hope they expand on the aftermath of the hundred years war and Zuko’s search with a fourth season in the new avatar Netflix show.
Also kind of hope that sokka gets to keep his sword, and that bird. And I hope there is some confirmation in either the new show or eventually Zuko and Mai actually got married and had Izumi. 😊

To be fair, Team Avatar started this journey with little or zero money. And during Book 2, Zuko and Iroh didn’t have any money because Zhao blew up their ship along that held what funds and possessions they had.

The Gaang was never really broke tho! Aang being the Avatar and all, people were gladly giving him free supplies to support him. They even automatically got a house in upper ring Ba sing se. I’m pretty sure they got a ton of money and supplies from Bumi in Omashu and before they left the Northern tribes.

I have question for whole community, why won't there be official next avatar and will there be animated unofficial avatar Genji? I am 14 and i liked avatar since 6, was watching this show before the school and was very happy when i found out TLOK, also i am fascinated that a lot of things in ATLA are connected spiritually, with Hinduism and Buddhism!
