  • 12th December 2015 | Having been beaten previously in the amateur ranks, Anthony Joshua had plenty to prove against fellow Brit Whyte. In a noticeable step up in class, Anthony Joshua boxed his way through six and a half rounds before a picture perfect uppercut left Whyte on his back. #AJBXNG

      @alcottdevalte7440 3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      I had to watch it again. Povetkin's left uppercut during angle change was superb. It was tricky of Povetkin after having worked on his body before that, and Whyte became patient while Povetkin wasn't. Didn't expect Whyte to lose like that but it seems like he is extremely vulnerable towards the chin.

    • @Twatman_21
      @Twatman_21 5 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      @@jakepaulpromotions1137 uhhhh no. He has a good jab which he does to find his range, he also uses a left hook and moves in on his opponent to close the distance and get them towards the ropes and if he has the opportunity he will KO them. He can also use the uppercut effectively (in a clinch or if they duck under a hook and he throws one like in the Klitschko fight). You're right, his footwork is lousy, but it makes sense for him to not move so much because with a body like his packed with so much muscle, moving around so much without working on the cardio will surely affect his stamina, that's why he uses his defense to check (block) punches to the head and body using his gloved and elbows or on occasion roll them off of his shoulder (like in the Povetkin fight, which I'd like to see more of if he learns how to use it properly). He will often use a jab, left hook, right hand cross combination to break their guard and stun them which he will then use to KO them, he also uses a lot of body shots which I can see being Jarrell Big Baby Bitch Miller's downfall. He is a smarter boxer than many make out. I believe he'd lose to Fury on points but we'll see when the two fight for undisputed because it's safe to say that Wilder is fucked and Fury will outbox Whyte and beat him on points when he gets his mandatory shot.

      @Scoobay 5 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      David Torr “He HaS nO fOoTwOrK” dickhead. Why do you need to dance around the ring when you’re walking your opponent down? When has AJ ever been the guy to avoid the exchange? AJ went toe to toe with Klitchsko whereas Fury wouldn’t. Fury himself said he didn’t exchange with Klitschko because he would have knocked him out. Different styles doesn’t mean he’s lacking skill.

    One of my favourites.... A turning point in both boxers performances.... This give dillian a kick up the arse..... And he's been unbeaten since.... It also gave AJ the confidence to move forward and become unified hw champ of the 🗺..... Also big Frazer Clarke put in a good performance splitting um up after bag a man entered the ring..... Our champion... Burton on trents champion.... And the next hw Olympic champ... Frazer clarke

    You can see here why Joshua lost to Ruiz. As soon as he visibly damages his opponent, he gets tunnel vision and tries to finish it quickly, regardless of whether the opponent is actually that damaged. Here he hurt White in the first, went in for the kill and was hurt himself in the second, and likewise he knocked down Ruiz early in that fight, thought that he'd already one, and walked into a counter that lost him the fight.
    It's a cliche, but the phrase "it ain't over till it's over" still rings true, and it's an idea that Joshua really needs to learn if he wants to take back his title and live up to all the potential he showed in his early career.

      I genuinely believe Whyte is the only one with a chance to beat AJ. People talk Fury up way too much and Wilder’s only hope is if AJ fights with his eyes closed.

    • @jonnybravo3055
      @jonnybravo3055 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Whyte would destoy Wilder. I'd put whyte as number 3 heavyweight. He could even get to fury but if it went to points I think fury would get the nod.
