I just need to thank you for your videos! I’ve been collecting snow globes for 20 years and about 15 years ago we made a rookie mistake of putting them in the shed- in PA, we lost a few that year. I couldn’t find any real info on the web about how to repair them. As time has gone on, others have issues- glue coming up, tilting figures, brown water… you know- all the things you fix! This year, our biggest and most elaborate one came out of the box for display with a leak, and we were ready to give it away on FB hoping someone could fix it. On a whim, I searched again and found you. All day yesterday I binge watched your videos and now I’m heading to the store for some glue to tackle the repair of our prized globe. Thank you so very much!
That is awesome! We love to hear that. That is why we started the channel, because we had a very difficult time finding information. It was a combination of research, trial and error, and just learning as went along to get us to this point. We are sorry to hear that your snow globes had such a rough time but it sounds like you are getting ready to turn that around. In case you haven't seen this. We have links in our video descriptions to online resources for snow globe parts and accessories, however, the only thing we have purchased online is snow globe snow. We normally get snow from other globes but we bought some as a backup. Which brings up another point, you don't have to buy new parts to fix your globes. You can get used snow globes cheap at the thrift stores, garage sales, and flea markets and disassemble them for parts. We get most of our replacement parts from other used snow globes. And if you haven't seen them yet we have a few videos that you may find helpful: Episode 19 where we compare snow globe snow. Episode 32 where we compare the different liquids you can put in your globe, and Episode 3 where we show you the tools and materials that we use. We'll send links in a separate reply. We also have videos covering all types of snow globes. Let us know how it works out.Good luck and thanks for taking the time to let us know how we are doing!
@@snowgloberescue8887 Thanks for the pointers… I actually watched all the ones you mentioned! The comparisons are so valuable to me. I love to have choices and to see what others have done and how the different options work out. I will probably buy the snow you bought, but their shipping policies kinda stink at Nationalartcraft, and snowdomes just charges way more. But, I do want them fixed so I’ll search around a bit more and if I don’t find it, I’ll just bite the bullet. Thanks again for all your info and for sharing it!
@@crystal-jeanroat2885 we sometimes reuse snow from other old used snow globes that we buy at the thrift store and disassemble for parts. We find globes for under $5.00 all the time. We keep the Artcraft snow as backups.
I don’t think you guys understand how interesting I find the two of you and what you do. Snow globe rescue videos are my new not so guilty pleasure. 😂😂😂 Keep up the good work and great scores!!
Thank you. Snow Globe Rescue has given us the opportunity to relax, be ourselves, and have fun enjoying a hobby that we can do together and share with the community. We are happy that you like what we are doing.
The Santa on the letters one is by Christopher Radko. It should have a holly topper unless they made multiple versions, but it looks just as good without it. I think it is the first one you have shown that I actually have. I only have about 15 though. It's crazy to think of how many different snow globes there must be.
Thanks for sharing that. There was absolutely no information on that snow globe. Now we can look it up. We agree with you. We started this snow globe collection and repair during the pandemic. Prior to that we only had one snow globe that Ally has had since she was a kid. I never realized how many different types of snow globes that are out there and how many people are really into them.
Just found this channel. Do you only collect or also sell? How many do you have? If you want to replace snow, what do you use? Do you have to use a particular kind of glitter?
We are currently only collectors, however, the collection is growing exponentially and we are running out of room so we have been discussing the possibility of keeping the globes that are most meaningful to us and selling the others. We currently have over 400 globes in our home with another 200 or so in storage waiting for repair. They will never all fit in our home! As for replacement snow, we bought snow from a company named National Artcraft. We have links in our video descriptions to them as well as a couple of other companies that sell snow globe parts. We normally save snow from used snow globes that we disassemble for parts then reuse the snow in other globes. We have the snow that we bought online as a backup. Check out Episode 19 where we do a demo of the snow we bough online. You may also be interested in Episode 32 where we compare the different options for the liquid you put in the globe. We'll send links in a separate reply. We primarily use the Recollections line of glitter sold at Michael's and never had an issue. Hope that answers your questions. Thanks for watching!
Nice finds and loved the fleamarket.
Yes, unfortunately several of the nicer flea markets in the area shut down permanently during the pandemic. Thankfully some are still in business.

Too hot! That sounds so good.
I agree! Nothing like a warm Christmas!
I miss Florida so much Everytime you do a video there I love it. But I must say I have watched all your videos and I love them all.
Thank you. Yes, Florida weather is hard to beat, especially in the winter!
You guys are doing a great job! 💐💐💐
Thank you!
Why do they sell crocodile heads in a shop? I found that so funny!!! 😆😆😆😂😂😂
They are actually Alligator heads. We have so many alligators in Florida that they don't know what to do with them. Souvenirs was the obvious choice.
