problem with Agency, Supersprint and other aftermarket exhaust is they're smaller. They don't fill up the void (like the more aerodynamic L-shaped factory exhaust). This causes parachuting effect and poor drag coefficient
Nothing like an E46 M3!! My husband and I got ours a few years ago. Not much done to it yet, just a new suspension but it has so much power. Excited to keep upgrading ours and will be following yours. My husband was also a Honda guy back in the day, now he’s all about BMW 🤣.
I currently have a b8.5 S4, e92 M3, and an e46 M3 and the e46 M3 is my favorite and it's not even close. I'd never get rid of it, the other two...I'd drop in a heartbeat.
Lovely cars dude and I have to agree. While the others are nice, something about the E46 that remains timeless. The prices are already starting to rise too and for me it will go down at one of if not the best BMW ever made. Biggest car regret I had was selling mine. I’ll need to get back in the game before the prices go skyward
I've got an 13 S4 which I enjoy but it's an appliance. Does everything well, a little too well. Recently got a 996 Carrera 2 which is so much more engaging to drive.
I am so excited for this, the E46 M3 is one of my favorites. My dad is the original owner of his 2002 Carbon Black E46 M3 6MT, and it just hit 39k miles!
Stunning car Matt. Exceptional example too and great colour. Man the E46 is without doubt one of the most timeless examples of automotive design both inside and out. Enjoyed this a lot! I bought an Alpine White over Cinnamon SMG brand new in 2002. I’ve never regretted anything about it. Still have it to this day and it’s an awesome Summer car. SMG too is a lot of fun. I have others that are rowers. I had to laugh at your comment about never having driven one. Me too. I’d never been in one either. In those years this was a frigging FAST car. And that engine noise was just the craziest thing I’d ever heard. Topless it and an Eisenman Titanium exhaust sounds like stereophonic heaven. And yeah that’s with the rasp;) Along those lines, I’d also never been in an E31 ever and bought a 94 850CSi this year lol. It does not disappoint. The only mod necessary has already been done and that’s a Dinan exhaust 👍

I always wanted an Alpine White E46 M3. I ended up with a Topaz Blue on e instead. I have been storing it for my son who receives his license this year. Nice to see a fellow Dinan E46 owner on here. I have the stage 3 suspension, intake and engine software. I also have the Dinan floor mats. I went with AA exhaust and a Rogue rasp eliminator. I don't know if it was the launch color, but I remember seeing a ton of advertisements and promotional material of phoenix yellow cars back in the day.
Colors available at launch in the US were Alpine White, Phoenix Yellow, Imola Red, Laguna Seca Blue, Jet Black, Carbon Black, Titanium Silver, Steel Gray, and Oxford Green. They had promo material with a lot of those.
Matt may want to remove the Clutch Delay Valve. Thats the reason you felt the roughness when reving from 1st to second gear. I 've had a 2005 Comp pack and 2003.5 Non and both had them. Also the reason why the Rev matching is so hard to do.
If you get the CSL intake, I would highly recommend a tune with HTE Performance Tuning. He makes good tunes and crazy dyno numbers! Congrats on the new project
I bought mine with 49k on it for about $17,000. Like you I was 20 when they debuted and couldn't afford one despite working at a BMW dealership then lol. I had so many plans for upgrades but ive only changed the wheels. I love it just the way it is honestly. I STILL wish it was a CSL though 😍

Matty’s secret password at the guard shack is probably “Jankey”
Come on Matt when I got my E36 M3 I was making $37k and swung the 5yr/$700 payment! Haha. Eating ramen noodles and living w/ 5 people for $300/mo. Those were the days. Totally worth it and still have the car in perfect condition.
Ha, ha... I didn't make too many smart moves when I was younger, but I did trust my gut. That has kept me out of trouble.
My brother owns one and every time I see it I think it’s one of the nicest looking cars around a true classic not the fastest but it is sexy
@@nigh7dag LSB 😍
LSB was launch color

I dont know why, but these first impression videos are my favorite, that and the exit interview videos.
Matt may want to remove the Clutch Delay Valve. Thats the reason you felt the roughness when reving from 1st to second gear. I 've had a 2005 Comp pack and 2003.5 Non and both had them. Also the reason why the Rev matching is so hard to do.
Agreed this is a must, did the same mods to mine back in the day and like the man says, will solve your issues with shifting 👍🏼
Yep when I did my clutch finally it felt like it should especially rev matching. That and rogue engineering updates to the linkage
Great idea. I'll be yanking that out for sure.
Clutch Delay Valve also wears down the clutch unnecessarily
Congrats Matt! My E90 M came from EAG, awesome guys and great business. Looking forward to the new content on this one!!
Welcome to E46 M3 family!
Supersprint headers and backbox, csl intake, kw clubsport, bbs e88, Ap Racing Pro 5000, Recaro PP, and team schirmer kinematics.
Wow that’s beautiful gratulation 🤘🏽
Man, your community gate person is awesome!
This is awesome Matt I have the exact same car and year I would of traded my E46 M3 for your E92 M3 I love that car
This is gonna be a legit series can't wait. Nice car Matt!
EAG is a 10 minute drive from my house! would be a dream come true to buy a car from them. think "BMW M" runs in my blood lol
