Shopping for fabric in Tokyo at Nippori Fabric Town 日暮里繊維街

Shopping in Nippori Fabric Town 日暮里繊維街 is a dressmakers dream! Come along for a store tour of one of the biggest shops in the area, and take a look at the beautiful fabrics I chose from many, many tempting options.

Nakamura pink and green floral print cotton: ¥913 per metre
Black and white strawberry print cotton: ¥660 per metre
Pink stripe floral print cotton: ¥440 per metre
Red houndstooth/gingham floral print cotton: ¥418 per metre
Pink heart gingham print cotton: ¥418 per metre
All of these fabrics were full price, but you can find fabrics discounted as low as ¥100 on the ground floor!

Most stores are closed on Sunday, and one of the two shops I wanted to visit was also closed on the Saturday that I visited, so I would recommend visiting during the week if you can.
