Cow king boots are pretty nice. 30% faster run/walk, 20 dex and 25 magic find. Splendor runeword shield has 20% magic find, +1 skills and some FCR. Tancred set boots+Amulet bonuses give 30% faster run/walk and 78% magic find. Tancred's may be the most overlooked 2 piece budget magic find pieces in the game.
When i find the Occuus early in the Season, i usually put Tir rune in it to make it nasty 8 mana after each kill, on top Mesh boots :P You can use different set-up for Merc(not insight) this way. And about the Unique Dagger - usually i use this weapon when i am farming Nightmare to optimize better chance. Its perfect for Necro, Holy - Fire Paladin too.. To farm low lvl zones wit 2x Rings + Amulet + Armor angelic(100 better), Weapon - Dagger(100 better), Gloves+Boots+Belt (Sigon - 50 better) and Unique Skill Cap (50 better) 300 better combo on most heroes - it works )

I think Diablo hype simply dropped of after D2:R release. And remaining people got split into those who follow D4 and those who want D2:R content and don't watch D4 content (like me). On top of that big fish like Asmongold started streaming D4 so of course many people watch his videos/streams instead.

What several others said: Tal's belt has 14MF built-in. Also, do not forget Splendor (Eth Lum, shield), for which you give up CBF and 25 all-res for 1 Skill and 10 FCR compared to Rhyme. My Season 2 necro found a Gull for his first unique and never looked back --most of the game he used a skull with Attract and Golem Mastery socketed to Splendor, until he found a Homonculus (which he socketed with Ist). Just remember the discussion over in South American Pack Animal's channel about diminishing marginal returns viz. uniques. I quit using the Gull outside of terror zones in favor of HotO because I could clear large areas faster (FCR, Teleport).
Just had a Gull Dagger drop for a new Zealot Paladin and it worked great for awhile. Still used it on swap in NM and was getting some decent stuff. It's really only useful up to a point, of course. I don't enjoy using gear off other characters, so this was the first time I ever even bothered with a Gull Dagger since they suck as a weapon so badly, but early on they're decent.
I use Gull on a Poison Dagger Necro when I'm farming Normal difficulty, and it helped me through much of Nightmare. Since I found Wizardspike, I had to switch to that in Hell due to its resistance boosts.
Hey Phil - I run a physical multishot bowazon for MF'ing and I use Wealth as it helps with Dex + mana per kill... i would much rather use this than a 4 socket armour with PTopaz.
If I am specifically mf'ing. I will usually have a gull or ali baba (ist'd of course) as the weapon swap. For Bosses a quick weapon switch just before the monster is killed can you can get some extra mf.
FoH-dins is the mosty lazy thing :P You put this Griswold Armor and Unique Skull Cap.... + other items tooo.. You are just fine with 2x spirits :) come on.

I know it's a lazy build and with a child wife and 2 dogs as a filthy casual player I like the ability to lazily play in case my attention is needed elsewhere.
A high mf roll on an ik helm with 2 topaz for upper 80s mf, pair with ik boots which get mf set bonus (25 iirc). With 110 mf from helm and boots, it gives the barb a way to boost mf much cheaper than a decent set of travs would cost.
All this magic finding is complete overkill. A lot of people don’t understand that magic find literally means to find a magic quality item not a rare, not a set, not a unique as those have their own separate values.
It affects all qualities. It scales linearly for magic items(so you do see a lot more blues), but tails off for rares and above. Nonetheless it does improve your chances for all kinds.
double isted alibaba is my go to secondary hand on switch when i wanna mf hard. but usually i'll just settle for 250-300 mf with my main gear and have a cta on switch for that extra 30% mf by the time you are rich enough to put 6 ists into a sword you really don't need to magic find that crazy anymore.
Is it worth wearing mf gear now that we have "the gloam ritual" that gives us like 14k mf ? I like the idea of being a mf junky and I saw that there can be 25 mf on craft and rare rings or I'm thinking of jewel. The craft ones probably are easy to make as they are a low lvl afexs.

Good call. The IK set helm has big MF too if I remember rightly, and two sockets. Although it's otherwise pretty crap.
Tals 3 pice set is pretty good early for sorc.
For shield options, you can always stick 4 Ist runes into a 4-socketed Monarch or a pally shield with res on it.
Stealskull Casque is a 48MF helm. No plus skills like Shako, but still solid for a character needing attack speed/life and mana steal.

tal belt can have 10-15 :) 14 is so ugly xD i would never run it. brings bad luck

You forgot the an important one: Magic Circlet/Diadem/Tiara with +3 Skills, +85mf (2 open sockets with 2 ist, 35mf base)

Regarding shields, poss stormshield+topaz or mosers+2 topaz for HC. For SC you could also do headhunters+3 topaz.
I don't think topazes give MF in shields, but light res. Ist runes might work.

Perfect topaz Moser's is a nice replacement for the rhyme shield
You would have to use Ist runes, because a topaz in a shield will give you lightning res instead of mf

I love using my FoHdin for MF only downside is I'm one ber rune short of his build being complete. SSF offline is a struggle for runes for me.

Early on i tend to use gull dagger / Ali baba with Milibraga’s shield (20 mf) on switch.
I'm using Skullder’s Ire for my armour because i can't find the runes.
Set bonuses with MF tancreds and naj both 2 pcs and tals 3 pc all worthy of mention
