I chopped up bits of dried foam clay into small chunks. No idea what to do with them yet lol, and they are such bright obnoxious colours, but I figured my kids groups could use them as part of found object/spare parts artworks . Another use for leftover bits of clay (before they dry!) is to roll them into balls and use a toothpick etc to turn them into beads. Can keep them as is or paint them uniform colours after. Really lightweight. I once used foam clay to make letter beads for my niece’s “rainbow” themed party and then gave them to her as a gift after. No idea where they went tho. Kids lol.
i love the necklace with holo taco!! it looks like a record! also the one with the little stars is so cute! and i’d totally buy the gummy bear keychain with them all hanging off the chain in rainbow order 🥺💖
Why do I feel the strong compulsion to try literally everything you showed in this video. Hahaha. I loved all of the glitter things. And as always, those nails are looking 🔥🔥🔥
I love all the glitter! I’m sure your clothes/deak/floor etc are likely still glitter covered so it’s good you like all of the shiny things. 😀. I am also obsessed with the stars! So so cool! You could do a pair of simple glitter star earrings with a couple. My fave necklace was the black and silver. So cool! All of the gummy bears and then the “sour patch bears” were so stinkin cute!!!! 💜💜💜
Ooo so many fun things! I think the gummy bears, hearts, and stars would all look cute in the center of bows. The star hair clips are giving serious Rainbow Brite vibes and I love them!
We're so lucky that you are obsessed with clay! I'm lovin' it! I saw on YT shorts that there is dishwasher safe modpodge. Apparently, you can decorate plates or cups and still wash them! Maybe one day you could check that out? Anyway, have a great week. See u next time.
this was such a fun watch!! i always look forward to your videos!!! everything was so cute! the pink star glitter pendant was my favorite. the star hair clips too!!
You created such cute items!! 🥰 Yes, glitter glue is much less messy than adding glitter on top of glue!! 👍 The shiny is always an improvement in my book!! ✨️
Hi Rose what a nice break from Sewing, I'm making Brooches I've got a Snail, moths, ladybird & Bees. Beside paint in my New Sketchbook a Lion Cub. Thank you
I loved seeing the process that went into making these, and the results are so cute! My daughters would love all of it, lol. Is there any chance you might open an online shop? Oh! And you could use a couple of skewers on either side of your foam clay when you roll it out. That would make the thickness more even.
I loved all your ideas this week! You are a very talented crafter i would of never thought of half these ideas ..hence 2 buckets of air dry clay in my crafting hoard 😂 i always dig it out and then get complete brain fart and forget about it and put it back and return to coloring lol.....but i honestly think imma try some of these ideas for sure....those necklaces were IT for sure....but im not much of a hair or ear decor person...also those no detail gummie bears if you would flip them upside down it kinda looked like it would look like a. Skull 💀...would make cute halloween earings ....one last thing when you use the stamp thingys try using a lil bit of cornstarch to keep the clay from sticking to the stamper i forget who i seen that from but ive been meaning for last few videos to tell you but i remembered this time hope it helps...sorry such long comment...Enjoyed this weeks video THANK YOU SO MUCH!
I always have brainfarts until I'm working on something completely unrelated. Then I'll have a million ideas for something that uses absolutely none of the same supplies so I have to make a mess getting all the new stuff out.
I just got back from an awards ceremony for a film I directed. We didn't win and I'm very tired but watching your video afterwards was a great consolation prize! (And honestly your vid is better than some of the films we saw lol)
"Haters gonna hate" but those rainbow glitter star hair clips are now my most favorite thing 😂 That one blue circle pendant at the end was looking a little naked. Maybe it too could benefit from rainbow glitter stars? Just ask koo-koo-kangaroo, if "everything is better with glitter" ? Because the answer is YES. I am THAT person who carries pocket glitter incase of emergencies. Glitter emergencies 😂
New to foam clay here, does the varnish make them more durable? I find a lot of mine and my daughters projects are often so fragile after a few days of being nice and dry
I guess it depends on what you're making with them and what you're doing with them. It does add a little bit of durability. I usually do about 6-7 coats to make it really shiny so the outside gets nice and hard. I probably could still break them if I stepped on them or were too rough but I've dropped them and they've been fine. But most of the stuff I make just sits in my craft room.
@@RoseRequinCrafts Esp nice that Halo Taco worked wonderfully-glitterphoria. The dimensional magic in silver glitter is rather thickish, similar to your dip in glitter method but a smidgeon less. Gold is eh. The iridescent is where it's at. Love using it on shrink dinks. So would a shrink dink of a critter on a foam clay pendant layered by...oh wait this is getting too deep. Hehehehe. Love that you're having fun and trying anything, even craft glue!
If you chop up bits of the dried clay and mix it into a solid white, I bet you could get a very cool terrazzo look with some sanding!
Ooh, thats a good idea!

I love the fact that you used Holo Taco to paint your project!😂 I’ve used it that way before too! Cristine has some amazing products.❤
I'm obsessed.
Love these things. Make more stuff.
🤣 Will do
My fav is the glitter earrings
i love the necklace with holo taco!! it looks like a record! also the one with the little stars is so cute! and i’d totally buy the gummy bear keychain with them all hanging off the chain in rainbow order 🥺💖
Thank you 😁
I use my Holo Taco on crafts sometimes too! You're content is so fun & inspiring 😊
Thank you so much! 🥰

Yay! 😄
I love the hairclips so much. I would totally wear them :-P Enjoy the glitter for the next 1000 years, that you will randomly fine in your work area.
I will never be free of it. 😭
I really like the fact that you use inexpensive craft supplies whenever possible, and then use Holo Taco to paint with! Heck yah we are friends ❤
🤣🤣🤣
LOVE your Halloween nails! These all turned out so cute! My favorites are the gummy bears and glitter bows!
Thanks, those were fun to make!

The loose glitter has so many more options, but it's EVERYWHERE. I'm pretty sure it's just regenerating itself.
@@RoseRequinCrafts That and sand are impossible to get out of a house once it has been opened!! 😂🤣
Now the glitter post on Insta makes sense. 😂 I really enjoyed this video, it was fun watching you make so much! 😁
🤣 So much glitter EVERYWHERE
@@RoseRequinCrafts I told you. 😂 Just let them be little reminders of how much joy you spread with this video! 🤩
Oh no I missed you going live
This was sooooo fun and I love love love all the jewelry!❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much!🥰
Oh I love them! It's all so mabel-core!!
Lots of fun! I finally bought some colorful foam clay so I can play around sometime =)
Yes!!!
When I've used iridescent medium it has worked better mixed into a paint than when I try to use it alone, give that a try!
I've never tried that but I will now!
Love this idea
Such a great job! These are adorable!!
Thank you so much! How are you doing?
nice! so fun
love your sense of humor
Aww, thank you!
cute i like 'em
your making me want to get into foam clay!! 🤣🤩
You should try it! It's addicting.

🫣
I found the gummy bears scary for some reason 😂
Ps. It always makes my day when you call us your friends ❤

I think the thicker iridescent topper could be nice if you only did it on the sides of the bow. Like not the middle🙈 🤔🥰
Good point!

Your finest sandpaper looks quite rough to me. Don't know how much of it is crafting papers vs nail files
They are sanding sticks. I have a bunch in different grits. The black one is VERY fine.
