I love how modest Greg is when explaining how he learned to play various instruments.Colin mentions how when he first met Greg he was always practicing playing instruments and Greg responds that at the time he was "on the dole"and had nothing better to do.He could play just about any instrument he got his hands on,but he always came across as so humble and self-deprecating.That's why people loved him so much.
Yeah, the audio is terrible! The static is so bad that at times you can't even hear what they're saying. It's still a great interview, though!I also like the part where Greg talks about "borrowing"the flute from the girl who kept it scrupulously clean but never played it,and he would sneak it off and practice playing it after dinner.Cracks me up every time!😁
The story about the Men At Work signs was funny. Colin said that they didn't have them here in the States and said we had Men Working signs, but I remember we also had Men At Work signs before the band of the same name became big. Then they changed the sign saying Men Working instead.
Colin hay and Greg ham looked so young 40 years ago rip greg

Thanks for all these videos. Really gonna miss Greg.
Greg was always the happy go lucky, good humoured one. Always up for a joke.
Wow, the two of them looked like proper mates right from the start to Greg's death. RIP Greg.
That trick with the drums at the end... that is the funniest thing ever.
R.I.P Greg
Life is way to short enjoy them while you can
His Aussie accent gradually changed to Scottish as he got older
Being an American, his accent sounds like he is from Liverpool. Just my perspective.
@dwardbliss8931 Colin Hay is from Scotland he moved to Australia when he was 14 with his family parents and siblings
@@veltonmeade1057 Colin Hay is originally Scottish his family moved to Australia when he was 14

Nice,,,,
''he was a criminal'' lmao
The audio and video in this clip is some of the worst I've ever seen AND it's also one of the best Men at Work interviews I've ever seen.
