  • Iniesta's and Torre's arrival to the J-League has certainly been a big story in the football world, but why did they make the move to play in the Japanese league? We take a look at this fascinating and exciting league that should not go unnoticed!
This film was originally released on Saturday but has now been updated. We have since replaced a stylistic design that has cultural sensitivities we were not aware of.

I haven't watched the first one, but I bet it's the usage of imperialists flag AGAIN. The western countries always forget how awful and ignorant it is to use the flag (which means similar to Nazi mark).

asa i just wanna ignore ur comment but ill just say it
The korean gov and koreans widely aware of vietnamese victims who suffered by korean soldiers during the Vietnam War. We constantly express sincere condolences and apologies errtime vietnam people mention it.
Fortunately, i believe errtime new korean president comes up they visit the Vietnamese victim memorial square to accept their dark history and give an oath not to repeat the same incident. (Im not sure about this)
And the korean gov constantly offered to the viet gov to have a joint research for further truth and historical facts
However, the viet gov had been refused for years.
      Eventually they accepted
So korea and vietnam are currently having a joint research
My point is korean marines certainly did vicious deeds during the Vietnam War, and koreans do not forget that

I got into my local club, Sanga, while living in Kyoto around the start of the millenium. Small club, tiny crowds (3,000 ish on average) but they had a decent stadium and cracking cup-winning team then - excellent German coach, ace goalie and the outfielders included Daisuke Miura (Japan international), Teruaki Kurobe (Japan international striker) and Park-ji Sung, later to be a World Cup semi-finalist in 2002 and a Manchester United star. Happy times.

The J-League has way more professional structures than CSL, Katar and many classy 'final pay day' destinations together, while clubs in the J-League pay less money. Iniesta earns 5m p.a. in Kobe, but he turned down an offer from csl club about 27 Millions per year plus 36 for his wine.
Podolski also had better option, he could stay with Galatasaray earning 8m a year or also leave for an csl club. But he also decided to leave the club befor his contract runs out and to play in a competitive league.
The chinese clubs are still very young, that's why they have disgraceful training facilities and mostly amateur coaches and staff. They try to get this right (buying knowledge by european clubs, exchange coaches etc.), but that will take some years of work. Years that the J-League already has behind.

    • @k-matsu
      @k-matsu 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

In addition to what @@robertsprinke5336 notes, one thing which makes the J.League unfit as a "final payday" destination is that it is both physically and technically demanding. There are numerous examples of players who went there and flopped dramatically because they viewed it exactly as the sort of destination that China, Qatar or MLS are. They quickly discovered that if you are not at the top of your game, you will quickly be embarassed and released. Examples? Id never manage a full list but . . . Bebeto, Hristo Stoichkov, Dwight Yorke, Ilhan Mansiz, Freddie Ljungberg, Diego Forlan, etc. etc. . . . . of those, Stoichkov played two very SUCCESSFUL years in MLS after Kashiwa Reysol terminated his contract for poor performances, and Yorke did the same in Australia. Ljungberg -- who arrived in 2011 after a fairly decent year at Celtic, was eventually pressured into "mutually terminating" his contract after six months, during which he scored 0 goals, 0 assists in 8 appearances. In short, players who are looking for a "final payday" are much better off going somewhere else.

The only reason iniesta moved to kobe is because he is starting up a winery business with the owner of rakuten, that he gets to play still in the team is a bonus.

As a Urawa Reds fan myself, I wouldn't recommend expecting to see top-notch performances on average (slower passes, weaker shots, clumsier traps) but the tension of "who's gonna win" is definitely there, and I think it's much more interesting than seeing Madrid and Barcelona win every other year.
Oh and check out our supporters too; we sing the national anthem louder than when the national team is playing ;)

sisleyan Please tell me: What does it stand for? What does it mean? I don't know where you are from but in case you are from Korea, please let me remind you how the Koreans used comfort women in Vietnam during the Vietnam war. Should we not stop using the Korean flag? If you're Chinese , please tell me how many Chinese people starved to death under Mao's regime? Why do we still use the same old Chinese flag?

    • @patrickjones2625
      @patrickjones2625 5 ปีที่แล้ว +5

I'm not sure you're in a position to be able to tell me what I should feel about something, and so I find your comment quite ignorant and distasteful. If by, "what it was used for", you're referring to its representation of Japan's imperialism in World War 2, I still don't really see your point. To the Japanese, it may constitute some shame stemming from the surrender in 1945, but that was a long time ago dude. I'm a young adult; the result of the second world war itself is not a major part of my life. Plus, a very similar flag is currently used for the Japanese Maritime Force, and you see the Rising Sun in many commercials, games, movies, band logos and so on. Japan is known as 'the land of the rising sun', so why can't I be proud of something that represents that?
The 'cultural sensitivities' that Copa90 mentioned may, of course, refer to Koreans or Chinese (possibly war veterans too, if any are watching) that take offence to the flag due to its symbolism (remember, Korea was formerly ruled by Japan, and Manchuria was occupied in 1931-1932). Like I've already said though, I'm Japanese, and I didn't mind it.

I unfortunately don't watch j league but one thing I like is there are no dynasties created whereas in la Liga it is real madrid or Barcelona in bundesliga Bayern münchen in serie a Juventus in ligue 1 PSG
There is no chance for other small clubs to win titles can anyone imagine Brighton winning the premier league
Same for the champions league i am a Real Madrid supporter ( a true supporter not a glory Hunter) but I want other clubs small clubs to even have a chance in winning the champions league not always us and Barcelona. I would like to see if a club like atalanta or Valencia or zenit winning the champions league it will get more fun
