To much heat can cause the fruit ripen to fast will lack of building sugar . Slower ripen give a fruit building sugar and more complex flavor after taste
Kim how come my haleys comet has 3 different fruit size? Small,medium, and Xtra large. Biggest one weight 2.14 pounds. Is it the pollens, weather, or soil causing this? I only have 2 varieties haleys comet and unknown white. Wish I can have more varieties I been wanting red flesh.
Fruit can come variable size . If you mix pollen than cross fruit can be big . Most fruit are big of first cycle of fruit . If your plant produce more fruits will share the energy with other . Best to thin out your buds only you have lot of buds . Can be how mature your plant that can handle the fruits production .
