Since I was a teenager, Game Grumps has always helped me feel better when I'm not doing well mentally. I doubt they'll see this, but I'll always be thankful for their videos.

They're the best. I discovered Game Grumps about a month before Jon left the show, and I actually remember thinking back then that I might stop watching 😂

I love it everytime when Dan is like "have you seen this obscure music group's weird album cover that you definitely know nothing about?" and no surprise, Arin is always like "nope."
Semisonic is not obscure. The album cover may be though.
Fun fact, raccoons typically life for 2-3 years in the wild, but can life up to 20 years in captivity.
Is it because they’re reckless and eat whatever and go wherever?
@@JamienautMark2 that’s probably a part of it and also they are unfortunately considered pests even though they’re so fluffy and cute and fat and soft
@@JamienautMark2 I think a lot of people also see them as rodents with rabies and try to kill them, though 99% of the time they don't have rabies and are relatively harmless. and just general roadkill accidents

I'd love to envision that Arin actually had the game selected and the game screen already on so that when Dan would come into the office that day, it'd be the first thing he'd see and realize that it's gonna be one of THOSE days.

7:14 - I love the idea that these people who starred in The Super Mario Bros. Movie had distinguished careers before that but are now going to be known for their roles in the Mario Movie, i.e. Jack Black as Bower, Chris Pratt as Mario, Sebastian Maniscalco as Foreman Spike (the best character in the movie). Also, I can’t be the only one who thinks that just Seth Rogen’s normal voice coming out of Donkey Kong is just too perfect, right?
I watched game grumps as a kid so much. My sister said it was stupid but she walked by my room one day and heard the “I took a shot but I missed” bit and the rest is history. We say it everytime we see eachother.
That “no classical music” joke on “handle” got me to smile when I was cranky. So that’s gold right there.

I love the way this game uses exactly the same graphics for NPCs being aware of your presence as Hitman
The tension wrench is the tool Arin is thinking of. It’s use to turn the lock and keep pins that you have already pressed in place, via tension.

I love how this game is a great level of cute/interesting for the grumps to be engaged, but still relaxed enough for their minds to wander to fun tangents if they feel like it.

I recommend watching James Blackwood, the Raccoon Whisperer. He's an old dude that lives in Nova Scotia and just feeds raccoons hotdogs in every video.

Careful with raccoons, they can carry rabies and look completely fine for awhile. Same with skunks. Respect their space and get help for any raccoon or skunk bite. ✌️

Listening to you guys be goofy has become an integral part of my ability to control my emotions because hearing you guys makes the voice of my mind take a seat so I can function. PTSD is a total mountain to overcome, but I'm getting better at it every single day, and I couldnt do it anywhere near as well if the Grumps didnt Grump. I've trapped raccoons before so I could relocate them far away from my cats, and I can confirm that they do helplessly try to dig out of the cage. It makes me feel so bad, but I can't have my cats getting rabies or getting in fights with them.
