Thank you Pat andTrevor xxI know what you mean about being found guilty when you’re innocent.. I was in a rural studies lesson and wasn’t paying much attention to the teacher so I was going over a pattern that someone else had written on the big wooden table but with the bottom of my pen, so ink was actually going on the table and the teacher accused me of actually writing on the table!!! He gave me a lunch time detention and I was made to scrub all of the tables and I missed my lunch.. It was the only ever detention that I had ever at school.. always hated that teacher. But ended up absolutely loving Rural studies.. great stories as always x
One of the best vlogs dear Trevor and Pat. As others have said, your stories of piano tuning are the best! Really fascinating insights into folks and their pianos!
Well Trevor, you had me chuckling at your “piano tuner” stories 😂 The saying that came to my mind sums up the experiences you shared, “there’s nowt queerer than fowk (folk).” 🤣 I’m guessing that’s a universal saying up and down the country? 🤔 Anyhow, thanks for the laugh. Keep em coming 👍🏻😁
It's good to be able to laugh at these incidents Neil, and anyone who has to deal with people on a daily basis would echo that saying mate. I can't promise to keep these stories coming though Neil, I forget them mate.
👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻. One of our friends worked for the telephone company for years as a residential telephone installer. He met some really dandy customers. 😊. One time he was busy attaching a junction box on the wall and the woman of the house came up behind him and asked him a question, he turned his head to answer and he quickly looked away again because she was stark naked 🥺😃. We said he should write a book lol. Take care, stay safe and well. Judy🇨🇦🇨🇦
We really enjoy all your stories Trevor you really make our day and pat you two are brilliant and we would like to send our very best wishes to lovely pat for her birthday what a special lady you are pat love to you both Susan and Phil
Oh it is and I certainly needed one. I had a disturbing text today. Obviously spam it was a parking ticket and I can't even drive, but it still worried me. Xx@@trevorpat-lifeontherun
It's a really bad feeling when you get these scam attempts, even when you don't fall for them. I got one through Facebook Messenger, and I turned it off after that.
I wonder in first part of story if it was the same piano tuner on both jobs and he wasn’t very good at it. Sometimes there are people that have trust nobody and it sounds like may you had a few of them. I wonder with the judge being so wrong about you how many were found guilty that were not. Just a thought. Take care Mr. Creeper lol JK.
Ha ha, I never thought of that about the judge Debbie. I have a feeling that the piano teacher didn't know how to tell if a piano was at pitch or not, and wouldn't admit it to me because of pride, so she insisted it had always been tuned to pitch when I knew it hadn't, but if I had said that to her, it would sound as though I was accusing her of lying, or that her old piano tuner was lying.
I know what you are saying Pat with the cat. We have a black and white cat. His beautiful but a lot of work and there is only two of us here. We have e to vaccum every day he leaves his white hair everywhere and where he rubs up against t by j in nha like the material lounge.
I have Asthma Kathy as well, so if we didn't clean constantly it would set off a Asthma attack. I once tuned a piano in a house with eight cats and finished up in hospital.
I think you're delightful and honesty beams from you both. I love the humour you both enjoy together. ❤
Thank you Letitia.

Exactly the kind of experience I was talking about Jackie.

Thank you very much.
There is another book in these tales! The confessions of a piano tuner.😂😂😂
If only I could remember them all. 😄
Brilliant story 😂
Glad you liked it Gary.

Something similar happened to my brother, but alas not I.😀
Brilliant video guys I’ve been in similar situations as you mate, so I totally understand your point 👊
I can't think of a worse situation than going to do a job for someone who has had someone else for donkeys years.
@@trevorpat-lifeontherun you never live up to their standards even if their standards were low 👊

Susan & Phil, that is so kind of you. I am so pleased that you and others recognise how special Pat is.
You make me laugh Trevor with your stories. Maybe you should write the book, Confessions of a Piano Tuner!! Lol!! See you tomorrow, bye!!
I would probably get sued knowing me.
