A little about my channel! My name is Amanda and I'm a wife and a stay at home mom of 2 kids and twin babies - 4 boys! I grew up in New Jersey and relocated to Maryland. My husband and I had to navigate a new state on our own and built a life around that. Many of my videos include real, solo mom life and how I manage my home. I like to see myself as the chief operating officer - haha! I was in the corporate field prior to mom life, but I can honestly say being a mom is the most challenging, yet rewarding role I've taken on! I can’t imagine the overwhelm on Christmas Day for the kids
They get so excited 🥰 we unwrap everything and then we do put some gifts aside after and pull them out on a rainy day vs opening everything at once usually.

Great gift ideas!! My boys both loved Legos too when they were that age. My youngest son still enjoys them and loves the Lego Masters show that he watched with his dad too. So fun to have that bonding activity to do together. 🎉

I understand why people give disclaimers before these videos and it’s appreciated (I am a low income home) but also I feel like if people really didn’t want to make others feel inadequate about gift giving we wouldn’t have any of these videos at all and that would not be fun. 😂 I love seeing how everyone celebrates holidays! Love the gift ideas! My son is almost 6 and he literally just started liking plushies the last year and a half or so. When he was small he didn’t care for them at all. 😂 which I kinda love bc now his squishmallows are actually MY squishmallows. 😂 my son is very much a boy boy if ya know what I mean but he asked for a Barbie this year. Gladly gifting that. I picked up a different Pokémon trading pack from Halloween also and am using it split up for multiple gifting reasons. 🎄 merry holiday season everyone!

He certainly didn’t have any ill intention. He just didn’t realize the adults were getting them and I probably could have communicated that better 🙃 lesson learned and both parents always get them 🥰 it’s fun for all!
My 8 year old son picked out a stuffy dinosaur for his birthday and my 15 year old daughter asked for a weighted teddy bear for Christmas.

As a lego fan that lego technic set will not be fun for a 5yo. It will be frustrating and there is limited ability to use that parts with the classic stuff. Id give it to your husband or keep it for when your kid is maybe 7yo.
Yes he definitely couldn’t do it on his own right now! We have a few they’ve already collected and they sit along side my husband as he builds and they hand him pieces and help with certain parts 😃
