Thank you! If you look at the microfibre with a flashlight or bright light, you'll see it is shiny because of the polyester fibers. Real suede has no shine.
Not just that, but the number of people saying your leather purses (one layer thick) is ‘lined’ with suede makes me just wanna pull my hair out. It’s one layer, and what that proposes doesn’t make financial sense. Suede is one on the textures a person can achieve on leather, just like patent, or glove.
Thanks for posting the difference between suede and microfiber, that really helped me! You could totally see the difference with your camera. The suede has like regular lines like stitched fabric where the suede looks more solid

And earlier this year, I found it pre-loved in amazing condition for a fraction. It's my favorite bag now. I love that there's a Rogue for everyone out there

I have the ergo with the upwoven leather. It’s sooooooo gorgeous but man is it ever messy when this rubs against your clothes! It sheds, it’s very delicate. I didn’t use it that much over the summer because of that. I’m afraid that the entire things will shed. It’s unfortunate 😩
Honestly...I don't think the Rogue is worth the price tag. It is pebbled leather after all. I like the suede, but suede can be difficult. Perhaps they'll lower the price on it one day. Like Dooney did with their Satchel silhouette

Vachetta? I think vachetta leather is a little different than vegetable tanned (I could be wrong), but both can stain, patina, etc. over time.

I am surprised people still buy leather bags since it is an animal product.
Coach purposely uses ethically sourced leather (animals weren't raised and killed specifically for their hides).
And to each their own.😉
People dont know what real suede is even in the Coach stores. We wish they would go back to suede. Dont like the ultra suede
