I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you listen (and possibly react) to the Arknights OST as well. You seem to be enjoying the music, and there is so much more that the game has to offer in this category. There is a reason why the community jokes that Arknights is a game developed by a music company.

48:33 It is less that she is tall and more that the people there are short. The race of the people here is Durin which is basically Arknights' Dwarf race. And like Dwarfs, they live underground. What's shown here is an underground city of theirs, encased in a dome. The dome had broke and underground came flooding, the durins took it in stride and built a water park.
Durin 1 be like: (look up at the hole in their fake sky from where water may flood their home) ....You know what we should do with that?
Durin 2: A water park?

It was already true. The storyboard you saw at the beginning is "based on a true story".
Basically, The hole in the ceiling with water falling through already happened. However, in his story, everyone is panicking, and there's doom and gloom; however irl everyone is having a beach party.
And it's not that she's tall. It's that they're short. The Durin (race) are literally the hobbits of arknights, so their adults are like, not even 4' tall (less than 130 cm)
Durins are also notorious for being drunkards, and mostly aloof.

The Rhine Lab is something I'm really looking forward to as Rhine lab's been hinted to have some messed up stuff going on since the start of the game as several of the Rhine Labs members were available from launch (Saria, Ifrit, Silence, etc.). Ifrit especially as u can guess is important as we have her as a character and we get hints as to what happened to her in a lot of records and also the relationship that Saria and Silence have with her (basically scientists who end up being pseudo-parents for Ifrit, often memed about in the community as Saria being the father and Silence the mother, tho Saria and Silence don't get along due to their past together, Silence notably hating Saria for her involvement in what happened to Ifrit and begrudgingly working with her to help Ifrit). The event did get changed for global which is why Dorothy's Vision isn't translated from Chineseand why there isn't an animated PV for it (the PVs are only made once they come to global or more specifically when they get to JP). We got the Ideal City event before Dorothy's Vision, whereas CN got Dorothy's Vision, CC#10 and then Ideal City, but we had to have Ideal City line up with the 3rd Anniversary time so they changed the order.

There is an rhine lab cannon manhua that tells the complete story of them and its really good
@@valhir5008 Nah, Rosmontis was experimented on by a specific mad scientest called Loken Williams (basically implanted originium into her organs while keeping the rest of her body uninfected and also tried to do a mind transplantation with her brother, which ends up fragmenting her memories, all so that he can create a caster that is not infected). It is in Columbia just like Rhine Labs tho. Rosmontis then goes out of control and blows up the laboratory she was being experimented in. Also the experimentation is similar in that it involves the implantation of originium into the victim's body, they just did it in different and for different reasons then Rhine Labs did with Ifrit.
Rhine labs seems more intent on weaponizing oripathy than curing it.
These videos are like an hour long and they always feel like they're over in the blink of an eye. It's great seeing how excited you are to react to all the trailers and such.
Also, the people you see in the last trailer are 'Durin's, the game's 'dwarf/hobbit' race who live in underground cities, that's why Gavial looks so tall in comparison. This event is also going on right now for Global, during our server's 3rd anniversary.
Really hope to see you check out the event's full soundtrack setlists or at least the EP's for character themes and groups!

The Waai Fu Wild Flower of the Street skin art seems heavily inspired by the work of artist Ed Roth who was famous for his work in and around the "Kustom Kulture" and hot rod community of 1950's and 60's Southern California. It was an inspiration I definitely never expected to see in a Chinese mobile game.

Stultifera Navis is a direct sequel to Under Tides so yep, it is it's own mini arc going on right now in Arknights.

50:00 the gist of it is that, the durins ( the small people that look like kids, they are also the version of Dwarves in arknights ) are living in the underground, and the thing in the sky is their creation, a hologram of some sort that simulates the real sky and something bad about that hole is happening or going to happen.

Most of regions and cultures in Arknights are surprisingly closely related to irl cultures in many countries. And in every new content, even us who play the game usually do abit guessing game of which country (or culture) the game takes place now

Regarding the Undertides sequel animation, the first character is Irene. You recognized Skadi. The nun looking character is Specter. Skadi and Specter are a race called the Ægir which are based on sea creatures. Skadi = killer whale and Specter = shark. There's a huge background story to Arknights regarding the Ægir, their underwater cities and the Lovecraftian god-like thing or things that live in the ocean and the threat those god things could pose to all life on dry land as well.
Trivia: If Irene sounded familiar, in Japanese she shares a voice actress with Kiana from Honkai and Unknown Goddess from Genshin.
Rhine Lab is probably my favourite faction in Arknights as of now. A lot of the Rhine lab operators were in the game since launch but we only had a pretty rough outline of what their backstories were. Most notable ones are Saria (former Security section leader and Rhine lab co-founder), Silence (former researcher), Ptilopsis (former researcher, real name Joyce Moore - the person accessing the files in this video) and Ifrit herself (a bratty child with severe rock cancer, also capable of melting buildings). They were all involved in an event called the Diabolic crisis. Later on Hypergryph released a short official manga covering the events of the crisis and these characters' backstories. It is actually pretty good, can recommend.
When it comes to unexpected animal motifs, it mights tickly your fancy to know that Lumen, as the 24 minute mark, is a guppy fish :)

All the 3d animations are amazing but personally the Near Light 3d animation will always be my #1, it always gets me in the feels whenever I watch it.

Only for help in your introduction for anime (no spoilers): The anime is a version of 3 first history chapter of game in Arknights, It was animated by the same devs that created the PVs, since Yostar created its own animation house last year, currently they have already made the Arknights anime (mentioned above) as the 4-koma of Azur Lane, are planning to release a second season of Arknights and Queen'd order, other spin off of Azur Lane...
You NEED to do a reaction series for the Arknights OST, there's a reason why the community calls Hypergryph a music company advertising its music through a game!

the thing that dude told gavial about is that hole opening up leading to water entering and then the durins (the inhabitant race of that region) made a water park lol
ofc in true arknights fashion there is a problem there but the event is still very much happy and if anything it's more about the characters internal conflicts than any terrible event happening
8:43 The event takes place in Laterano, which is Terra / Arknights version of Vatican. The population are mostly Angel (Sankta). Tho, the angel in arknights are always equipped with Guns. They actually enforce their people to always have and bring their guns. And speaking of Guns, in Arknights Guns are pretty much a magic staff, since you need to actually have an arts (magic in arknights) control to use Gun.

21:49 Skadi and Specter (those 2 girls that were fighting the monsters in this PV) are from Aegir. Aegis is pretty much the Atlantis in Arknights. It was the most developed country with superior technology and stuff, but some incident happened that caused the country to be pretty much gone. Skadi and Specter here are some of the few survivors. Btw, Skadi is based on an Orca, and Specter is Shark.
25:14 If you really want to know the plot, you can start from Undertides and then Stultifera Navis. You can find some long summary of the story in youtube (I recommend the one from Frostbyte).

The environment/furniture rooms are actually different sets of decorations you use to decorate the 4 "Barracks/Relaxation" rooms that you can build in your "Rhodes Island" home operating base. You can mix/match/tweak furniture if you like a certain look, but the complete sets (earned a piece at a time during the campaigns) generally give the best results for "Morale recovery" for your characters.

If you haven't heard it already, go listen to Awaken. It's one of the best EPs they have in my humble opinion, and it weirdly, gives me Disney vibes.. If Disney had chainsaw nun shark ladies :)

That 'Teaser' is actually in game too. As for the trailer after the character 'Horn' (the one with the two 'shields') can actually shoot explosives out of them like you saw. As for Stultifera navis your 100% right this is Part 2 after under tides and it is VERY bloodborne esqe the abyssal hunters remind people of bloodborne. THE GOLDEN AGE WILL RETURN AGAIN!!! Fun fact: Stultifera Navis means the ship of fools. Ambience Synthesia concert is out on youtube right now actually :). Funny thing about the leithanien trailer is that it released in cn first in english. Was very surprised at it. Same thing with the Rhine lab one. (which isnt in global yet) Ideal city is our current event with the durins (dwarfs). He wasnt taking bout a future event but a past event and thats why there is a water slide under the hole (because the water coming from the hole keeps the slide a water slide lol)

Yup. That's the Abyssal Hunters. A faction that pays great homage to Bloodborne specifically, even in regards to the relation between them and the seaborn in contrast to the relation between Hunters and Beasts.
The sankta (the "angel" race) and sarkaz (the "devils") have a tonne of really cool lore around them too (the Guiding Ahead event revealed a tonnnnne of big things) the Sankta are all kind of "linked" in an empathic sense and sankta can just sense what other sankta feel which makes it harder for them to communicate with non-sankta because theyre used to both sides of a conversation knowing how the other feels (and there's a whole bunch of stuff thats a bit deeper into spoilers around sankta and their religious commandments), guiding ahead also gave us the moment where a character (somehow) got up on a billboard while in a wheelchair to provide sniper support (also a very very rude latin insult from one character to the main villain)
The golden age will return again.
For Rhine Lab there's a manga about it. Strongly recommend to read it.
Just a bit of information... Most of these event trailers happen a bit into the future of the main storyline or on a separate time with not much clear indication when it takes place in relation to the main storyline... The released anime would be set before all of these events...

Well, you're done with all the PVs that have come out for global (Technically there should be more, but it's all in Chinese and is content that will come out later on). Though, I really really recommend you to listen to Arknights EPs, to me is still crazy that they do Character themes for every 6 stars character haha
The Chinese edition of the game is about a year ahead of the English/International version - hence the "Rhine Lab" trailer in Chinese that you posted at the end.
Seeing how much you seem to like Under Tides, I don't think you've watched the actual official trailer (I've only seen you react to the two animated teasers). I would strongly recommend checking that one out too, it's still my favourite trailer to date.

The anime is pretty good - the first 8 ep season only covers the first few chapters in the game - none of the side stories so far. You can watch it if you subscribe to crunchyroll. Also, if you're going to react to MVs (haven't watched this whole ep yet but you mentioned it previously - not all the best vids are on the official channel - some related ones are on the respective production channels - ie. Bear Grillz "Save Us from ourselves" on Dim Mak's channel.
And at least the Home Service trailer for the new anime "shorts" series "Lee's Detective Agency".
It is a little disappointing, but unlike the "Princess Connect" game, there aren't actually large chunks of animated story that you can unlock by playing. What you see is what you get here on youtube for the most part. (unless I've been missing something for the last 1.5 yrs).

Sorry. 16:00 in, and I can't watch anymore. Tofight, it is purely torment that ai am unable to be a part of those who ride this ride. I have loved Arknights since it was first announced, yet, I have never been able to play. Give me a phone that actually plays games, or 6 seasons of a fing anime. Liked this great video without finishing.
