She used mamas broken heart as her demo before she let Miranda Lambert record it. I think Kacey's version is amazing, i wish i could download that version...you have to listen to it if you haven't!

Why so much plastic? Why so much fake? Which breeds more fake?
Maybe because they are mediocre in your opinion, but not in the opinion of most others? Could you name these Taylor Swift acoustic songs you listened to, by the way?
You all did the right thing by selling this to ABC, but this is a way better version and it's a shame you couldn't make it as big by singing it yourselves :)

I love this song, Kacey Musgraves is such a talented songwriter and singer. I saw her in Manchester earlier in the year and she was phenomenal.

Loved Hayden's character and Nashville season 1 was great but her version has got nothing on this! So beautiful.
I love the Nashville acoustic version better than any of them. It features Chip a lot more and it's just absolutely perfect (IMO of course).
