This was the first Jurassic Park Arcade that I ever played! So I have a lot of nostalgia for it. It all began at a Walmart in Arkansas, where my brother and I played this in a gaming room while our parents were checking out groceries. I’ll never forget those moments/memories. I hope I can play Konami’s JP3 Arcade again some day. Please take me back!
In my opinion, this is the most faithful game to the movie Jurassic park 3 released at that time. Plus that Jurassic park Survival ps2 that was canceled by Konami, would have been the best of all released in 2001, if it had not been canceled.
@@jurassic_prk_wrld_collector I really wished if they had arcade tie ins for both Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and Dominion as it takes place during the events of the Lockwood Incident and the good people of InGen would round up rescue the escaped dinosaurs.
This game's good, but do you truly think it's better than the fourth one based off of Jurassic World, which came out in 2015 though? That was by far my favorite Jurassic Park game for certain!

Whenever I see gameplay of the Jurassic Park 3 arcade, I always imagine John Matrix being in that game where he arrives to save the survivors stranded on Isla Sorna and the players, player 1 specifically, take control of John Matrix as he ventures through the island to locate and save the survivors while battling against the dinosaurs.
Seen this cab exactly once in an unassuming roller rink in Texas years ago and now I'm convinced I'll never see it again... Every other barcade has a half working JP2 at least

I always wondered how Konami would follow up Wow Entertainment's work on The Lost World Arcade. You only need to look at the raptors to know they screwed up. The ones in the previous game look like they want to bite your face off at mach speed wheras here they look bored.

It's a shame the videogame didn't have a Ceratosaurus... :( Other than that, it's AMAZING just as all the JP ARCADE games!!!! (Although I only played TLW one in my childhood, to be honest) Oh, and GREAT CHANNEL, too!!! ;)
The alpha pteranodon was originally going to be in an alternate ending of the movie where after the crew escapes the spino jn the river they reach the beach but instead of encountering the soldiers the pteranodons show up including the alpha one, the crew gets attacked and then the raptors show up too fighting against the pteranodons forcing em to leave, that was supposed to happen before they give em the eggs Billy stole I don't think the scene was shot however there are props that were made for the scene afaik
So few playthroughs of this game exist. I wish it was more readily available
Yeah, and hopefully it'll finally be playable via MAME (along with other Konami based games which ran off of this hardware) soon at last!
