- Refs gonna ref....which typically means suck at their job. And they were in rare form during the culmination of this year's March Madness tournament. The second half of UNC vs Gonzaga was almost unwatchable, and just take a look at some of these very questionable calls to find out why.

Well, we can't hv our cake and eat it too. In other words, we want the refs to let the kids play and at the same time, we want them to call fouls when there are fouls. Which one do we want??
Personally, i say, let's try ONE season where NOBODY gets a foul call, which means nobody gets a chance to go to the FT line and literally let the kids decide the game. No travels called, no 3 sec violations, no nothing. If the ball flies out of bounds for whatever reason, the team that had CONTROL of the ball last, loses their time of possession and the other team gets the ball, no questions asked. New rules, no one can complain about the refs then because the ncaa gave you just what you wanted. Letting the kids decide.

Until the NBA and NCAA hoops implement some type of replay challenge, 2 per half, these bad calls will continue. As long as incompetent refs get no penalties, like fines or firings, these bad calls will continue. You'd think the title game would be called by the best refs, maybe these were the best, yikes!
