If I was able to create my own mystery box I would include seven items from each year of Pokemon. I would also excepcially included vintage cards because I love them but haven't been able to get a hold of them. So annoying. 😁😁

Given resources, I would make a mystery box based on the "years of Pokemon TCG". Included would be premade packs of different big sets throughout the years that had some of the crazy hits but mixed in with some lesser known sets that also had great cards. I also think it would be cool if someone offered a theme mystery box? For instance, I love dragon type so the box would be catered around getting merchandise/cards themed around Dragon type Pokemon.
He did that for a different box. He counted the values of the packs toward the total since he said that was what really mattered, but then opened the packs anyway.
Id definitely put at least 1 graded card in there and some packs and make sure to disclose a floor and ceiling value on the box to make sure people arent buying without accurate info. If the box is selling at 100 id probably do a range between 80-200 or something like that. Id also like to add an old pack art just so people can appreciate the old sets
I would make a mystery box showing off all of my favorite artists in the TCG. I have been filling my collections full of artists like yuka morii and tomokazu komiya, but their cards are mostly commons. While the cards themselves are not valuable I believe the artwork is. People become too focused on getting the rarest cards, but some of my favorite cards are worth pennies. The artwork really makes the TCG for me, because it shows pokemon in such a unique and wonderful way.
I started re collecting about a month ago, found some of my old cards from xy evolutions and I’ve started to master the shining fates, if it was a $700 mystery box I would put in a Japanese shiny star v booster box, an evolving skies etb, full collection shining fates tins, a psa graded base set card, some mystery packs I’ve made of my own, some vintage cards I own such as the 1st edition machamp base set and to top it off add some binders and sleeves so the person can use the mystery box to collect further and organise as it is super important to do so!
I would like to put everything in a mystery box that I would like to receive as a collector. Small figurines, more unknown Pokemon products, sealed boosters, depending on the price a vintage pack. Sealed products are always nice, something that adds up to the value and not just a bunch of "trash".
This is obviously a dream mystery box, but I would love just have a HUGE variety of packs, products and cards from all different generations of pokemon. Doesn't even have to be expensive, just love the variety.
Hi, my 3 daughters and I just started collecting about 3 months ago so we are noobs and just learning how to collect and what to look for..I have already spent 1000s (my wife isnt happy)..We have been scammed a few times but we have learned our lesson on how to weed out the bad sellers. We love your channel and your content so thank you very much..the perfect mystery box for us would be a good balance of variety of vintage and modern and more openings the better..boxes with 2 or 3 packs (unless they are vintage) and a slab dont really excite us. The best mystery box for us is one with alot of quantity to progress our collection. Thanks again
When I would create a mystery box for someone these are some things I would put it (depending on the value): - Evolutions Packs - 1-3 Graded Cards - Shining fates sealed pack - Hidden fates sealed pack - Elite trainer box(Depending: Evolutions, Evolving Skies) - Japanse sealed boosters - Some coins, dices for fun - Small decent bulk - Cool singles I have opened about 2 mystery boxes valued both about 100 euros and got back +- the 100 euro. Mystery boxes are cool as long if they are from legitment sources. Love the video and the Dragonite
My mystery box’s theme would be going through the years. It would start with a vivid voltage etb, then move on to the sun and moon era with some packs. Then I would put some hidden fates graded cards and mystery packs in there. Evolutions would have to come next along with the generations set. Graded reverse charizard and a sealed pin set of generations. After I would put some gold star cards in there and have all the eveelutions from jungle. Finishing with a base set unlimited pack. Thanks for all the smiles pat. You are a legend and you have helped me through a tough time. Keep doing what you are doing! 🤝🙂
I would put many different variety of packs because I like seeing the different generations of tcg cards. I would also slip in slabs of my preference, most likely havsing a couple hot pull rather than 10 20$ slabs
I would make a themed mystery box with one of my favorite pokemon. So Charizard, Gyarados, Mewtwo, Gengar, etc.. then I would have graded cards from vintage to newer sets of only that certain card. Would be so much fun to put together if I had unlimited money to make one. Haha. Thanks for sharing the love to the community Pat!
First of all, I love your videos mostly the one about dos and don'ts for collectors. They help a lot to become a better collector. Keep up the great work! I think for the mystery box i would put boosters, 3pack blister and collection boxes from various generations. And maybe something to make the person laugh, i.e., plushie, random item or a fun boosterpack
I would want not only a profitable mystery box (for the person who buys it, not me) but a fun one too! Definitely include some PSA graded cards. I would prefer quality over quantity for PSA cards and I’m sure many others would too. Definitely throw in some vintage stuff whether it be a jungle pack unlimited or maybe a sealed vintage product. After that some modern packs are always fun to open but also maybe one mid-vintage pack like from the black and white era. I would always include 1 plush from the Pokémon Center! Nobody ever includes plushies and I love them! Imagine opening a mystery box and seeing a Kanazawa plush pikachu! Anyways, that’s about it. Gonna be hella expensive lol
I would love to be able to put together a mystery box that pairs up each English set with its subsequent Japanese counterparts, as much as I love opening English packs.
I would make a mystery box that would be inspired by a time capsule. I would certainly include some TCG products, both modern and vintage, but also some iconic memorabilia to take the buyer back in time. Original toys, game cartridges, posters, etc. I would do one big mystery box and really want the buyer to smile as they open up each item.
I would have a mix of vintage and non vintage packs. Everybody deserves a chance to open a vintage pack in their lifetime. There would be slabs of non vintage, and lucky vintage slabs. There would be cool sleeves, maybe a binder that is custom. I dont know if i would do loose singles. Maybe if they were cards that could be drastic in change due to grade. Gx, ex, vintage, etc.
I will put a lot of packs from the neewer sets, a pokemon t-shirt and depends of the price of the mystery box i will maybe put a PSA graded card in there.
I would at the minimum make what ever I put in there worth what I charged for it at msrp. I buy boosters for under msrp so it wouldn't be a loss or at the very least drop a couple slabs from something I pulled (keep the cost down) and equal out the cost with packs to rip.
My mystery box: I would take some of my old vintage cards in it. Like my Vaporeon holo from jungle and my my 1st edition dark Gyarados. Also i would put in a Hidden Fates etb, because Hidden Fates is my favourite set so far and a random 36 booster display. Further i put some new cards in like the Raichu & Alolan Raichu Gx in japenese from GG End and some cards which are Worts like 5-10 $. Last i would put some vintage booster in like Diamond and Pearl base or Heratgold Soulsilver. Ist would be worth like 1000$
I think I'd make a mystery box which was themed around the starters of each generation. So maybe some graded slabs of each of the starters (grades depending on how much is paid for the mystery box), some unopened packs which have starters or their evolutions as the artwork on the front, perhaps even one or two plushies. My theory is not only do people love starter pokemon, but they originate from all the way back to the start of pokemon up until modern day, so the box would contain everything from vintage to modern without feeling random :)
I would definitely love to fill mystery boxes by energy type. Sure they're a bit more predictable this way but how fun would it be if your friend collects psychic Pokemon and he or she receives the holy grail of psychics! I'm talking coins of psychic, sleeves, plushies, cards, big hitters, oh and of course a few random packs, everyone loves to open packs! It would be even easier to price the box fairly without the buyer feeling weary about getting jipped. Also... Don't do my boy Guzma dirty, Pat! Come on! It's definitely a painful loss, though. This passed the excuse 'I need to make a profit' even before they put the graded slabs in the box.
Pat, I’m sure you hear this all the time but I can’t stress enough how superior your content is compared to pretty much every other poketuber. Your videos are truly a pleasure to watch for so many reasons
Awesome video as always man! The only small suggestion I have is maybe not counting the pulls from packs as part of the value of the overall worth of the mystery box compared to what you paid for it. Something TwiceBakedJake does that I like is he doesn't include the price of cards opened from packs in the value cost because he acknowledges at the end of the day it’s pure luck, there's more of a chance to not pull a hit from those packs than to pull one, so he only counts the price of the pack and deducts that from what he paid. Maybe you could add a second set of numbers that includes hits from the packs? Regardless, keep the great videos up!
100% agree thought that was a little odd. Never scene anyone do it the way he did it. But still a good video. Was looking to see if anyone comment this
I'd want to make themed mystery boxes. I'd stick to cards mostly, but maybe some odd trinkets and toys are ok. Definitely have to have one or two sealed products. Doesn't have to be WotC, but at least from gen 5 or earlier. You'd also want things that pop. While I'd want to make sure the person got value for their purchase, value alone doesn't do it for me. There has to be something (or some things) that really stands out and makes you excited to see it.
If I'd create a mystery box I'd try to put in a lot of unique cards not a lot of people know about but still hold their value. For example the Japanese Neo Files or Movie Promotions.. maybe the Vending Machines set. Throw in some packs for the fun and top it of with 1 or 2 graded cards.. maybe like the oldschool Shining Gyarados and Magikarp :)
I would definitely offer variety packs from across the many years to show maybe new Pokémon fans the older sets as well as a graded card in and definitely cards from different countries such as German or French cards would be a really cool first time experience!
I love these mystery box videos! ive bought a couple and most disappoint, if it were me i dont got a huge collection but if i did i would put some packs a graded card 9-10 with an actual card people want, 10 promo cards from all eras starting from base, and probably something with major shock like a sealed WOC theme deck or something
I had to put in some vintage graded cards. Not that big but worth like 100-200$. Then i want to put in some new cards like 50$ worth. And last i would put in Booster vintage and new one. Maybe a Pop series 5🤷🏽♂️
ohhh thats a good request! i'd probably include a bunch of cool japanese promos, maybe some older graded cards nothing too crazy, some hard sleeved holo bangers, 10-20 different packs, and possibly some neat plushies and toys!
Started collecting not a long time ago but I would put in my mystery box let’s say it was 700 propaly a booster box of vivid voltage etb of champions path and shining fates psa 9 vinatage holo and psa 10 card like a pickax hi plush some Pokémon pop it and propaly some random booster packs love your videos🤩
If I could create a mystery box, I would love to throwing some vintage booster packs, or, pokemon video games. Big hitter cards of courses, psa, vintage, and such. The point of the mystery box is to tantalize the buyer. Make them feel intrigued by what they got.
I would make custom boxes that included everything you need to start playing and collecting, like complete decks, binders, sleeves, a deckbox and some nice product to fill up your binder
I would create a play through mystery box, choose your starter plushie, then first envelope would be boosters themed round the first gym and so on then the last will be the hall of fame with 6 sort after cards
I just started making mystery boxes on my facebook marketing profile and I like to add into boxes at random Stickers, Movies, Vintage Items, Sealed Products, Graded Cards, Single Sleeved rare cards, Vintage cards, Full arts. Coins, sleeves, promos, storage boxes, and more 😁 No complaints yet🙏 I add more than the value they pay💯
Of course I would put a lot of different packs in a mystery box! Manly sets from my favorite Pokémon era and I would also put some non TCG products in it, not just plushes or something like that but also some special object that you don't see that often and I would make the box a little bit more personal maybe the build the box around a certain theme the buyer likes the most or something like that☺️👌🏽
I would love to make a mystery box of a timeline into Pokémon. Almost like your taking a time machine into the years. Starting from the newest set all the way to the first set. Including packs and also some of the featured toys/items in that time frames.
I would make an Umbreon themed Mystery box!! Every single, gorgeous, Umbreon across the olds sets! Neo discovery.. Acquapolis.. Skyridge.. Ex Sandstorms (very underrated set btw!). AND the last graded card: A Karen's Umbreon... the most BEAUTIFUL card i've ever seen!!!
A keychain. A gold bk card. Maybe a psa graded card. Roughly 20 or so different packs but try for more vintage pack. A t-shirt. And a Holo Mewtwo base set unlimited. Who doesn't love Mewtwo. Good luck guys!
For like a 500 dollar box, Some packs like battle styles, like 20, and some graded cards and maybe sleeves and some toploaders and throw in some xy packs
I would make it a themed mystery box and perhaps provide a story behind the types of cards we put in. Especially if its from your personal collection it might tell a little story about my collecting experience through the years.. from base set, to post WOTC, and to some of the most hyped sets in recent times.
I think I would put a ton of nostalgic items from 2000s and back. The new stuff is nice, but I think most collectors are older and would appreciate more vintage cards and products.
For $700 - Couple of Japanese booster boxes, 20 different packs from different sets and a vintage pack + 1 psa 8-10 card, modern stuff is superb but you get best of both with a nostalgic kick at the same time
I would put a variety of packs like burning shadows, evolving skies, hidden fates, evolving skies etc.i would also put a etb maybe a booster box and also a vintage pack with some japanese cards and a few graded cards and maybe some pokemon toys or plushies
If I were to make a mystery box I would put mostly vintage stuff as newer cards like you got just aren’t as exciting, I would put a couple vintage packs, some cool cards and maybe a graded card or two
I would go for a cute theme. Baby shinies of baby pokémon, baby tag team. The old eevee are especially cute. And one I think doesn't get much love is EX full arts and secrets, I would include those because some of the secrets are really pretty. Maybe some from Generations but idk how popular those might be. Doing one by pokémon type might also be fun, especially if you include delta species
Hello pat ! I'm nath from France and here I will teach you how to make a French Pokémon mystery box ! :p First I will customise the postal box to make a unique one for the customers. Like that they can be really hype and they think more than you just send a normal box. For example a box with Pikachu with cheese and baguette xD Secondly i will propose 3 types of prices 20 - 50 - 100. The 20$ box will only have some few cards, holographics and Ultra rare. Sometime the box will be fair at 2-3 dollars more. The 50$ box will be the same, but I will do my best to put some rainbow or gold in the box. And here we have the 100$ box, even if this one can maybe more little than the others i will always put some old school pack like Generation, Old Black and white and for some lucky out there some neo destiny haha Thanks again for you're kindness and the hapiness you put on you're video. Hope you have a good day. Nath
I would do an all Skyridge and expedition holo mystery box. The mystery box topper would be a high 9/10 graded Crystal holo. I would also include sealed products such as vintage packs in English and Japanese. I would also include older sets such as base unlimited cards from Rocket, Jungle, and some legendary collection reverse holos. It would be an expensive mystery box but I guarantee whoever bought it would not be disappointed and would definitely be taken back in time. It would be the mystery box of all mystery boxes.
Hi Pat, hope you and your family are well. I enjoyed your video a lot. If I were to make a mystery box I would make sure it contained my favourite sets. Base set, Jungle, Fossil, Base set 2, Team Rocket, Gym Heroes, Gym Challenge, Neo Genesis, Neo Discovery, Neo Revelation, Neo Destiny, legendary collection, expedition, Aquapolis and Skyridge. Where possible I would include 1st edition booster packets from these sets, especially Jungle and Team Rocket. I love vintage promo cards as well so I would include the black star promo cards that were given out at the cinema. And of course I would include Ancient New as the card looks incredible! I would also include vintage Pokemon toys and Disney Adventures magazines that referenced Pokemon on the cover. Also I would make sure to include lots of Pokemon sticker packets from Merlin as I loved opening these with my brother. If I received a mystery box like this it would be better than winning the lottery. I would be so happy for the rest of my life. I would never sell these because they represent my childhood and that's a very important part of my character. Thank you Pat for this opportunity. And thank you for bringing so much happiness to the Pokemon community. Kind regards, Nigel
honestly if I was going to do a Mystery box id do it in a way where it would be quite a ride. I would likely go thru estates and garage sales buying up what I could pokemon related so I first off have a low cost then from there take everything even amazing hits and randomize it between the boxes. Depending on how many boxes id make it cover just a little over what I paid to get the items after shipping. The great part of this idea is I have no attachment to the items and the boxes would be cheap but the potential for hits could be fun. Had friends go to these types of sales and end up with a binder of base set-fossil set that they paid all of 15 bucks for and it had some nice condition foils from all of those sets with a large number in 1st edition. I would want to bring the fun of garage sale finds to a mystery box you can get anywhere.
it would be awesome to make a mystery box. I would put some booster boxes in, maybe some cute plushies and some singles, maybe a Ash-greninja! It would be a dream come true to win these cards
I would like to make the experience as fun as possible. I would make “boosters” with 10 cards in them. Each one will always guaranteed a holo or a rare card. I would add Pokémon based sacks and toys. Would add some meh cards in a envelope all sleeved. Big hitters in top loaders in a cool looking shipping envelope. Add 5 super big hitters each with there own box and a sticker on it representing the Pokémon. Price will be 850$
If I were to make a $700 mystery box. I would add $150 worth of boosters from the newest set (gives you a chance to get some hits to make your money back). Some cheap vintage holos worth around $100 for nostalgia purposes. 1 vintage booster pack worth $180 (perhaps gym challenge). And a graded card worth about around $200. Gives me a little profit and the chance for the buyer to also make there money. Everyone wins and it's always fun opening a bunch of packs!
It's all about the journey - I think it's not what you put in the box but how it's packaged and the opening experience. We all love the $$$ cards but tbh I enjoy the surprise and the overall unboxing experience
Part of the fun of these mystery boxes is the ability to have collectible cards that we can add to our collection. The random nature of the selection keeps the fun of pack opening alive on a larger scale. I would add cards in grading condition in that redefined how we view the brand. Be it Pikachu and Rayquaza or something simpler such as Arcanine and Eevee.
I would love to put in vintage plushies, movies, figures and packs to bring back that nostalgic feeling pokemon always gave me. I love that dragonite card, it's my favorite pokemom card of all time
If I made my own mystery box, I'd put in some rares that were also really cute or had art I really liked. Like the alternate art cards and stuff, but I'd def just throw in some nice things from my fave card artists. It'd be fun to make a box! Maybe even open one, if they weren't so spendy. I'm still bummed that over half of my collection "mysteriously" disappeared while my stuff was stuck at my parents' homes. I doubt any of them would have counted as mint (I used to play with them, like not like the card game but like as if they were toys ri p) but the nostalgia factor alone crushes me. At least my Bulbasaur (very appropriately, my first ever card) is still in what was left. Most of the vintage cards are gone though and the ones left were the ones with the most wear sigh
While we like opening mystery boxes, building them is another issue. We love to get graded cards to increase the number of graded cards we have. We like all the shiny and full art cards, so including a mix of graded and ultra rare or better cards will be great. For the ultimate mystery box you would have to build up the excitement going through the box. Getting a full art card early on sets a hook on what the rest of the box will be like allowing you to wow the person with the final two graded cards. You really need to make the box priced lower than the contents.
If I made my own mystery box I would troll but also but very good things in there, steam siege to troll, but then some vintage error cards like pikachu with red cheeks. Definitely some sealed modern stuff like evolving skies and vivid voltage and shinning fates. And at least one good hit from the last 10 sets sleeved and ready for grading.
I would make a box of vintage and modern mixed. Maybe some things people don’t think about too like plushies or sleeves from a long time ago or maybe even like a vintage battle deck. I’d also include some sort of graded card along with packs to open and single cards
I’d put some loose packs from a variety of recent sets. A collectible item such as a funko pop, Christmas ornament, figure, etc. a playmat possibly. An etb of a desirable set and an older collection box like Tag Team Powers Collection or something. For a more expensive one I’d add a graded card.
If I could put together a mystery box, I’d try to put some cards from all generations in there as well as 2/3 boosters from the most possible generation (except for gen one of course since they are too expensive ) so that the person opening them could see their style change depending on how the Pokémon company has evolved their designs in the timeline. It could be a great way to slowly go back in time with the different sets.
In a 750 mistery box definitely have to put a nice decent slab. Then some packs, maybe a topps pokemon and a couple sticker packs. Definitely some sleeves for the pulls, and pokemon plush. And maybe something random.
I like it when the mystery box has a little extra so I would include some stickers, small plushies, maybe a cheap vhs of one of the movies. Along with random cards
i would love to put together a mystery box that tells a story as you opend it with both cards, toys, sealed product and original fan art that finishes and each product was a part of the story each one could be a differant story so you could buy multiples and have fun every time
As life has gotten busier, I haven’t been able to watch all my poketubers anymore. Just wanted to say - you’re the first one I watch when I have time to catch up :) keep making awesome videos!!
I would definitely keep a variety of pokemon packs so like the newest set to some of the older sets. I would also add some good graded cards and some single cards. And also just some of my favorite packs like shining fate, hidden fates, and evolutions. But all the items should stay somewhere around the price value. So I am selling the box for 700 the value of the sealed, graded, and single items should be some be somewhere around the price of 700 dollars.
I'd put a lil bit of everything in it from base set up to now. Booster pack of everything. Then i would put in a couple hand held systems in. Start off with the pokemon gameboy colour with yellow and continue on with the same theme. Maybe even put in some of those gold plated cards from burger king. I still have my charizard from there lol but i geuss my box would be more like a time lapse kind of box rather than going for profit and hits. But it would be an expensive box too though cause of packs like base set and pop series though, idk i would enjoy something like that! Great vidz!
If I was able to, for making my own mystery box it would be a 1st Ed Jungle set (full set), and a few graded cards spread out from modern and 1 or 2 from gym heroes. Then maybe a few surprise booster packs with a couple unlimited holos in the back. and of course throw in a little collections of vintage packs, and modern packs and round it out with some nice bulk from my random bulk box that has modern and vintage in it. That's how I would do it anyway, it wouldn't be cheap but I would price it well to match nearly dollar for dollar because it's about the enjoyment of the cards, not making a profit off of the cards imo.
1 booster box, 1 etb, a vintage psa 8 card, and 7-8 hits from 2010-2015. A random psa graded card from a newer set , 30 code cards and 100 bulk common/uncommon. And a few random full arts .
I would put a ton of vintage packs in my mystery box. I’m a vintage collector and I love seeing those vintages packs in boxes plus it gives someone the chance to get those really cool chase cards
I would try to put in a large variety of packs, sealed products and singles throughout the years. Maybe even some fun random items like stickers or a pin.
My mystery box would be built around a theme. Like an pokemon typing, specific pokemon, or region. I would put a combination of WOTC singles as well as sealed booster packs. Depending on the cost of the box I would also try to include some graded cards as well. I'd include pins and various extras in the mystery box as well.
If I was making a mystery box I would add something old like cards from older sets and something new as in special edition sealed products from the latest English and or Japanese sets. Also a plush, and maybe a pokemon shirt as well.
I would put in more sealed packs rather than singles as I find more enjoyment from that. I would do some newer sets but focus more on the first few. Maybe even throw a graded card or 2 as well.
If I was making my own mystery box, I would put a nice variety of packs. A few cards from every era (controlled number of commons, UC and Rares) with chances at rarer or more valuable cards. A few miscellaneous items like coins or cool sleeves and pins.I feel like mystery boxes should be just that, a mystery and not knowing what you will get like when opening a single pack is part of the fun. You rarely get your money's worth even with packs or sealed products so I feel like the odds in mystery boxes should be similar but with chances to get rarer items on given odds (like 1/10 chance to get a vintage pack for example)
For value, I would put Trainer Box from one of the newer sets, several packs from vintage to the newer sets, some Graded cards and old vintage cards. And for fun, a ton of diferent themed cards and merch from a specific Pokémon
I get all those odd pokemon holos together, like mightyena (love him) send those thru with a focal on vintage cards. It would be worth the money, and it'll double in value faster, then making profit.. hopefully
I have made mystery boxes in the past for yugioh and dragonball. This box was lacking excitement. You need the pzaaz in a mysterybox. For the 700$ I would add sealed vintage pack or packs, vintage toys, I would add cards/graded slabs/promos in a fun letter mail and number them leading to the best pull for last. Throw in some sealed boxes and tins. And some pokemon candies or drinks.
Jeez that evolutions charizard is still hype. I would at least through in a few promos just on top of the box. Plushies and rare Pokémon center items would be very cool too.
i would put in my only PSA graded card which is a PSA 10 rainbow rare Raichu from shining legends, Packs from new to old and some cards from my vintage collection
I would make a £100 one to make it simple, I would probably put in a hidden fates etb, a garados tin, a graded giovannis exile full artcard and a shining fates pin collection as I recon it will have the thrill of opening a good set like hidden fates along with some of my personal favourite cards being the geovannis exile full art and I think the pin collections are a really good investment for such a low price. Along with some vintage cards I have as I think that they would also appreciate the nostalgia that the cards bring.
I would put straight fire into that mystery box! But because most major parcel services do not ship burnt packaging, I suppose I would include as much WoTC Pokemon as I could find and vintage sealed booster packs.
If I was able to create my own mystery box I would include seven items from each year of Pokemon. I would also excepcially included vintage cards because I love them but haven't been able to get a hold of them. So annoying. 😁😁

Congrats again Audrey 🙌
Nice job!
Uhh
All so true
But nice job
would love to fill a mistery box with almost energies only, and finish it with a 1 edition charizard.
It would be despair followed by hapiness
That's so evil. I would totally watch this unboxing
I want that box already lol
The English vocabulary is in dispair reading your comment. 🤷♂️
That seems cool
We should just declare you the winner right then and there.
Based on years would be awesome
That's a good idea i would probably buy that if i had the money i hope you win
I don’t have any graded cards unfortunately but I would slap a booster box or two in it and load it with packs !!!!!
Shouldn't the cost of the actual pack go towards the cost of the box? It seems odd to not consider it and only count any hits.
Well you open it so the it doesn’t matter anymore
@@MonkeyDwuffy it does as you don’t know what you’re getting in the packs. So a mystery box you should only count it un opened.
He did that for a different box. He counted the values of the packs toward the total since he said that was what really mattered, but then opened the packs anyway.
Totally agree!
Yes it should.
When I would create a mystery box for someone these are some things I would put it (depending on the value):
- Evolutions Packs
- 1-3 Graded Cards
- Shining fates sealed pack
- Hidden fates sealed pack
- Elite trainer box(Depending: Evolutions, Evolving Skies)
- Japanse sealed boosters
- Some coins, dices for fun
- Small decent bulk
- Cool singles
I have opened about 2 mystery boxes valued both about 100 euros and got back +- the 100 euro.
I would put just a lot of booster packs. From oldest sets to the neewers.
Hey pat, If I made a mystery box I would put in Slowbro themed stuff because he is the best Pokémon OF ALL TIME!
Slowbro is so cool!
I agree, Slowbro rocks
Meh, Slowbro is okay.
I would buy.
Speed Cubing 101 what do you mean slow bro is sooooo good
I would love to be able to put together a mystery box that pairs up each English set with its subsequent Japanese counterparts, as much as I love opening English packs.
My mystery box:
I would take some of my old vintage cards in it.
Ist would be worth like 1000$
That Box would be pretty nice😳
I would put my favorite items like a pillow inside and maybe a small collection like different cards from Pikachu
Idk about a pillow
I mean like a big Pikachu pillow
Just like a teddy or so
@@crgamer3839 oh ok :>
Agree man should do average cost of the packs. Those hidden fates are about 20$ a pack anymore
Same I hope he comes back to my place he was cool
I'd probably just put 10 random cards into an envelope and call it a day.
Still likely to be better than this 😬
@@deeppocketmonster At best, I will make a profit of how many good cards I "accidentally" put in it
I love these mystery box videos! ive bought a couple and most disappoint, if it were me i dont got a huge collection but if i did i would put some packs
a graded card 9-10 with an actual card people want, 10 promo cards from all eras starting from base, and probably something with major shock like a sealed WOC theme deck or something
For $700 - Couple of Japanese booster boxes, 20 different packs from different sets and a vintage pack + 1 psa 8-10 card, modern stuff is superb but you get best of both with a nostalgic kick at the same time
I would put a flash fire or evolutions booster box, a graded Garchomp lv. X and some other lesser value graded cards, then some xy packs
Doing one by pokémon type might also be fun, especially if you include delta species
a ton of sealed packs. i always find packs the most fun to open. i’d throw maybe a vintage pack or two in and make it fun to open.
Hello pat !
I'm nath from France and here I will teach you how to make a French Pokémon mystery box ! :p
First I will customise the postal box to make a unique one for the customers. Like that they can be really hype and they think more than you just send a normal box. For example a box with Pikachu with cheese and baguette xD
Secondly i will propose 3 types of prices 20 - 50 - 100.
The 20$ box will only have some few cards, holographics and Ultra rare. Sometime the box will be fair at 2-3 dollars more.
The 50$ box will be the same, but I will do my best to put some rainbow or gold in the box.
And here we have the 100$ box, even if this one can maybe more little than the others i will always put some old school pack like Generation, Old Black and white and for some lucky out there some neo destiny haha
Thanks again for you're kindness and the hapiness you put on you're video.
I would make a mystery box with gym challange trainers full card sets like all misty or erika cards
Kind regards,
Nigel
honestly if I was going to do a Mystery box id do it in a way where it would be quite a ride.
Definitely a mix of base set, jungle, fossil, rocket and gym heroes. Vintage boxes FTW
I would put different graded Pokémon cards from all kinds of sets
If I made my own mystery box I would troll but also but very good things in there, steam siege to troll, but then some vintage error cards like pikachu with red cheeks. Definitely some sealed modern stuff like evolving skies and vivid voltage and shinning fates. And at least one good hit from the last 10 sets sleeved and ready for grading.
i would put the mystery box with some old booster packs a couple new graded cards and some newer items like a plushie or a big card.
This actually is aweome! Financially devastating, but awesome nontheless
A mix of : sealed product (modern), singles (modern and vintage), coins, code cards, slabs, empty tins for the singles, poke balls for booster packs
Thanks Lynn! I appreciate you!
Great vidz!
Graded cards is something that I would focus on for a mystery box. As a lower end collector, good graded cards at a decent price are hard to come by.
I would definitely put vintage cards, and collectibles! Add in some modern chase cards, maybe a zard or two🤭
My mystery box would be built around a theme. Like an pokemon typing, specific pokemon, or region. I would put a combination of WOTC singles as well as sealed booster packs. Depending on the cost of the box I would also try to include some graded cards as well. I'd include pins and various extras in the mystery box as well.
I pulled a rainbow blaziken vmax from chilling reins, I was SO HYPED
I love watching ur vids man , they're so cool
i would put in my only PSA graded card which is a PSA 10 rainbow rare Raichu from shining legends, Packs from new to old and some cards from my vintage collection
