Every thinking person knows how refund works, it's just return of money to account that money was taken from. Anyone that don't know that shouldn't be even close to managing money. And people that give control over computer to strangers to get rid of hackers shouldn't be around computers... Scamers just live from money of people stupidity and lack of logic thinking. I watched one video where you tuber contacted victim that was on the way to pay to scamers and the person was swearing at him and threatened him that she will find him. Just not worth it. But the videos are fun to watch and see stupidity of the other side.
@@lurker668 That's why they go after more tech-illiterate people. Some scams are actually very sophisticated but they don't make all that much money compared to these where they can suck thousands out of some poor soul's bank. These scammers, for now, will likely never be able to trick loads of younger people because we've grown up watching videos like these, aware of scams, how they work all our lives, but old people who already have trouble doing mundane things are easy to believe these guys. It's pure predatory behavior, but luckily it doesn't seem scammers are very welcome in their own country either. You can get them arrested or their bank accounts shut down if you tip off the right authorities in their home countries.

I was thinking this exact thing earlier. The absolute gall. They must get money easy if, upon the slightest provocation, they flip out. Really makes me sad, mad. Not only are they stealing from the vulnerable, they're verbally abusing them while they're at it. Disgusting human beings, this might sound harsh, but for some I really would not care if they died or someone killed them, I think in many cases it's probably deserved. There are others using essentially the same voice too, my feed is being spammed by them. Makes you wonder how many centers are operating these scams if they're catching on this quickly.

I know much of India is quite poor, so it would have to be a tremendous amount of headache to discourage most, but that breaking point is there somewhere.

I don't last long with them because I can't lie well. This is an act that you need to be prepapred to carry on with, and my honesty prevents me from being a scam baiter. They know right away I am on to them and hang up very quickly.
The calls are real but there's gotta be some thought put into the stories or situations he tries to lead them into.

@Amanda B some seniors arent aware of these scams. Some barely use new technology like computers, it's easy for them to fall for these scams since they arent tech savvy.
@@kelsie555 It's true. Also, some calls make it sound urgent, like the police are going to arrest them if they don't pay and so on. Sometimes, they're able to get personal information which makes the scam even more believable. As you said, seniors are very vulnerable. Nobody "deserves" to be scammed; that's a stupid thing to say.
