Hey mate, I'm in Cambodia and have my old iPhone 6 ( and 4 basically offline use for pics/ipod ) recently got my first android. Apple is pricey here. I use a VPN on both.
Just a question off topic a few months back I did an apple download and it killed my 5 year old iPad, simply won't charge or turn on. Starting to have worries about any new Apple updates for my 6 currently iOS 12.5.3.
Not keen to to do any further updates. Should I do new updates for the 6 when they come??
Usually Apple shares a list of which models it recommends should be upgraded vs not. In iOS 14, they mention only iPhone 7 or above, so I’d avoid updating - if they’d even let you.

You opened the vid with you in the middle of a filed but your phone showed you in New York. Will your phone maintain the spoofed location after you unplug it from the computer or does it reset and go back to normal?

What about using this for gig work such as Uber or instacart? Would this work say if uou wanted to grab orders from a certain area without being there. And do u think you could be deactivated for it?!

I use my account not only on my phone but also on my fire tv stick. When it wants me to check in after 3 months would doing this for my iPhone reset the 3 month clock for the fire sticks too or is there other GPS changing software for a firestick that can match a specific zip code location?

I remember on m iPhone the time zone would automatically change when I would set my location to a different country but for some reason it doesn't seem to work anymore. Now I have to manually set it to the country I am spoofing my location to.

With this new format of short videos like reels, shorts and TikTok’s this trick is even more important! The algorithms use gps location to show your content to people. If you life let’s say in France, but want to produce content in English for the UK your content will only be pushed to people who can’t even understand what you say. Therefore the algorithm will get misleading information and the performance of your work will be jeopardized

No, altering the GPS on your phone will change the data for every app that uses that data. You'll be better off using two devices for your use case.

Hello is the software safe for just changing the gps on snap chat on iOS? Does your phone need to be in the computer for the entirety of the gps spoofing, or can you take it off the charger once you’ve activated the gps location?
You can take the phone off the computer after the GPS has been spoofed.

So I'm trying to spoof my location to the US because TikTok shows content based on location, and my country's location sucks and filled with people who are lightyears from getting or understanding any of my content.

I suggest you use a VPN, TikTok uses your IP Address to pinpoint an approximate location so it must have pinpointed you in your country. To mask your IP Address, use a VPN

Most computers don’t have GPS capabilities, so a simple VPN that changes your IP address should suffice.

No, you can disconnect. To reset, you simply restart your phone.

If you’re using the same device with cookies or other identifying information, they don’t have to use your GPS data. That’s all I can think of.

It's possible to do this for free using a similar software.
This isn't free, it does actually require you to buy a license and register to use the full version. You get 5 trial moves and then you have to pay. Free to download but not free to utilize.

I know you saw the other reply, but I'll say it again: there are a number of different options available, but the one I use is Surfshark VPN.
In android, I simply opened developer option and selected FakeGPS as my mock location app and it worked.
I did this for a Snapchat map to mess with my friend my phones does not move when I move how can I fix this?
The program overrides your GPS so that it no longer moves when you do. In this case, you would have to program in a route from the software.

No, once you set the GPS, you can remove the phone from the computer and keep the fake GPS.
