    Jade and Ken together are hysterical. A couple times she said things I say to my hubs and I was like “ahh, that’s the work wife right there”. 😂

    Ken and Jade are by far my favorite duo! The back-and-forth is hysterical and just flows. I’ll be hustling my gigs this weekend to buy tickets for me and my wife to the Atlanta event.

    My husband's boss approved his time for my daughter's birth but, because she was a preemie and arrived before he had been there 6 months, refused to approve anything after that Friday. She was trying to force him to take on a project that was a step-down and over 2 hours away. I got to figure out how to get back and forth to the hospital (time in NICU - not allowed to drive) while he went into the office. His colleagues were appalled that he was in the office and their reaction forced the boss to approve the time.

    • @michaelaweatherman7682
      @michaelaweatherman7682 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wouldn't wish the NICU on anyone. Thankfully my husband's employer at the time said "come back when you're ready". This is one of those situations that being stable in BS 4-6 would completely change the dynamic, I would have told the boss to shove it and left to be with my baby, but you can only do that confidently if you're stable in your finances.

    Linh, please DO NOT MARRY THAT GUY. You cannot go into debt with that guy who is not in the same financial alignment as you. That love will disappear once you see the debt bills pile up. You deserve a man who is intentional about money like you. And if he really loves you, he'll start looking into educating himself more about money.
    Love, a stranger on the internet who had a similar BF like him in the past.

      I agree. Her frustrations will only become worse and she will feel stuck and like she has no control. He really needs to the work to get his money in order. I don’t want to hurt her feelings but he hasn’t even made room in his finances required for the wedding. She clearly loves him. I encourage her to think about what her life will be like if she marries him and he doesn’t change.

    Okay, I love the Ramsey Show and agree with about 95% of the financial philosophy, but I have to say one thing:
    Episodes where the hosts chit chat for 2/3 of the show and take calls for 1/3 really grind my gears.
    This show is where it is today by helping people solve their problems - this ratio is flipped when Dave is hosting and those episodes are better because of it.
    Simply an observation and an opinion of a fan. Appreciate what Ramsey does for those who take it to heart.

      I think we really want to hear the questions and answers. The very first time I heard the Dave Ramsey show, it was all questions and answers with just a few small asides. I always think that if someone tunes into the show for the first time and hears 15 minutes without a question, he'll never tune in again. And I only listen to the show when I'm driving. And if I'm going somewhere that takes 20 minutes and I only hear one question I am not happy. I don't think I'm the only one.

    Actually Heinz puts way less sugar their ketchup than other brands. We have a few products we don't save on and get the best one, and one of them is ketchup. We use one big bottle a month for our family, we prefer to pay the extra 120% which adds 5 bucks to our monthly bugdet.

    YOU CAN FREEZE BROTH?!?!?!!?!?!? Good lort, Jade just saved me a lot of money! I don't even want to admit how much chicken broth I have poured down the dang drain because I couldn't use it fast enough before it spoiled in the fridge!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Freeze all those things you need just a tablespoon/portion of:
      Broth
      Tomato paste
      Canned chipotle peppers/green chilies
      Fresh ginger(easier to grate frozen)
      Freeze celery leaves, onion scraps, garlic scraps, carrot scraps. When you get a freezer bag full, put it on the stove with water, salt, peppercorns, bay leaf, simmer for an hour or two, strain and use or freeze as veg broth❤️

  • @Nissan-hz8zh

    Have they really just discovered "great value" brand and generics. I buy almost all great value brand stuff. Targets up and up brand is good stuff too. Most of the time u can not tell the difference. They go thru all the same FDA regulations. 90% of the time, ur paying for the name

    At some point, I do think where you went to school matters. It’s niche but it does exist. Also, I would venture to bet that a high percentage of Princeton attendees get loads of scholarships and grants. And for those that get zero money probably don’t need it anyway. And regardless I think they will likely graduate with the biggest immediate “shovel”. All that said the tuition is absurd but it’s absurd in a majority college and universities. And a lot of people won’t need the connections you graduate with from there.

    Why couldn't Tim keep a house with a $280K balance making $100K/year?

    • @MickeyDiamonique
      @MickeyDiamonique ปีที่แล้ว

      He needs $35K in 90 days. He said he could only save up $3K including $16K from his 3-6month emergency fund. They’re trying to prevent him from pulling it from his retirement especially since he can sell the house.

    • @Ren-579
      @Ren-579 ปีที่แล้ว

      He said he can cut his emergency fund from 6 months to 3 months and take $16K from there. He also said he can come up with $3K in 90 days so that leaves $16K.
      So it's better to sell a house that he can afford and that he wants to keep than pull $16K from his 401K with $180K at 62? when he's making $100K? I think it may be a little different if he's not of retirement age and he will be penalized from drawing from his 401K.
