I can’t believe what people have come to nowadays… The department that took Molly has done this numerous times before, when they seize a bird from people who’ve taken them in, raised them, cared for them, loved them etc etc if the bird can’t be returned back to the wild they euthanise them🤬🤬 instead of giving them back to the families!! they’d rather Ki☠️ll them🤬🤬 than give them back, this was the actual case not long ago with 2 very rare native birds I remember one was a pure white raven (have you ever seen a white raven?? I know I haven’t) the other was some kind of rare native parrot I believe… I also would bet my life on it that if the people hadn’t of made such a public fuss about Molly this to would’ve been his fate😔😔 and because of this act the government has told this department the “law needs to change” making it easier for people who’ve rescued these native animals to obtain licenses to keep and care for them… This article angered me and when I tried to spread this information on utube to make the public aware I was censored😔😔

the warbling was so constant, she was warning all other animals to stay away from her little nephew. So protective. And the small barking show how intelligent these animals are.
all corvids are intelligent. some of the most intelligent creatures on the planet. i feed the crows in my yard daily for the last 10 years. same pair and their offspring.

I live in Australia on a semi rural block. I really enjoy the magpie's songs. We feed wildlife from time to time. We have seen magpie families grow over the years. Some of young are too lazy to pick up the food off the ground, stepping all over it while yelling at parents to feed them. Parents have to pick it up and place it their kids mouth. Very funny to see. Others call out for my husband to feed them or peck at my kitchen window telling me to feed them, parents teach them maners, Just like human kids. We have had 2 dogs who have a magpie friend. They play catch me if you can, the dog chacing and jumping, then the reverse, magpie chasing and diving. I don't know how the dogs recognise their friend, as to me magpies look the same. 😊😊
Somewhere in there was a bedtime story. So the puppy in multilingual because there was understanding. The barking by the bird is the equivalent of someone speaking a language then randomly throwing in English like PlayStation, because there is no word for it in their language. 😊
Oh! She sang baby to sleep 😍 We had a Magpie & my brother rescued an abused little Silky Terrier. Maggie would pick all the burrs from her fur & fuss over her as if Trixie was her baby ❤

Magpies are wonderful songsters. You probably also heard dogs barking and police car sirens. They mimic other sounds just like a lyra bird.
