- HEART SUTRA MANTRA
Album: JEWEL 'Joyful heart through precious Tibetan Mantras'
'TAYATHA GATE GATE PARAGATE, PARASAMGATE BODHI SOHA'
This Mantra of the Heart Sutra contains the essence of the Perfection of Wisdom and explains that all phenomena are impermanent and empty of inherent existence. Because things cannot exist on their own but need the interaction with others, they are called empty. We ourselves are composed of the five Skandhas (heaps) of form, feelings, perception, compositional factors and consciousness. As long as we don't realize that these five skandhas are pretending to be our ego and we cling to it we continue creating the base for suffering. If we manage to see the things how they really are, we are creating the base for liberation. Form is emptiness and emptiness is form. Likeweise are feeling, perception, compositional factors and consciousness. The Heart Sutra is the highest Form of Wisdom of the Prajna Paramita (mother of all Buddhas). This Mantra literally means. Gone, gone, gone all the way, gone with all beings to the other shore, enlightenment, so be it!
In this video clip you will see a very unusual combination of Chinese Tai Chi Chuan with Sword and the powerful Tibetan Heart Sutra Mantra.
