Fascinating . . . and informative! Also a good reminder of how large, powerful and sometimes contrary - and even dangerous - horses can be.

Love the way horses walk in travelling boots!!! Would it be safer putting boots on in the box?

We’re all guilty of it. Walking and standing behind a horse. Bea cause we think they won’t kick us

I has a very contrary horse, he was scared of man holes, he would walk over them then do a little dance on them, daft horse 😅

Why do the horses wear those protective leg guards? Some of them obviously dont like it.

To protect the legs while travelling 👍

In case they kick themselves, or are kicked, during travel. Crap happens. My horses always wore them in a trailer.

They all had them on before being loaded into the trailer. It isn't so much that they "don't like them" as it is that they're not something they "wear" every day, so they feel odd to the horse, just like their saddle and bridle did before they were broken to them.

@@imadobermomyou’re obviously a horse person, thank you for letting us ordinary observers know the reason why things are done and yes it makes sense when you know. Thank you❤❤❤

Horses not keen to wear leg warmers since they went out of fashion.
