I think I truly fell in love with you both when you revealed your dedication to the works of the dead-or-blind lady. What more noble cause in this world than that of honoring dead ladies? And now I see that you've extended your dedication to dead chairs, and since chairs are my second favorite things in the world, next to dead ladies, my menu is complete.
😂
❤️❤️❤️
Hi Arne and Carlos, here in Central California, actually in Sebastopol, we have a craft thrift store. The Senior Citizens Center runs it. They have everything from knitting yarn and tools to sewing materials, craft books, UFOs, and all kinds of great odds and ends. They recently expanded. I always look there first when I need some crafty thing. What fun!
Thanks for a great Sit and Knit today guys. I absolutely love the paint colour and curtains behind you. You have such great taste ❤
When I 'drop dead', I would be very happy to have someone take over my 'dead or blind lady projects' and add their own style to them. 😁😁
I love your tomato red wall!! So cheerful! Looking forward to your pajama gardener episodes!
I agree with the earlier comment, the red stitching around that beautiful 1876 scrapbook is called “blanket stitch” here in the USA, and it is often used to edge blankets. Love the new fabrics, and I will request my local fabric store bring them in. Thank you for sharing. - Mary
Love your new fabric!
Love you guys!
You remind us all of the magic of ordinary days❤️
Well said!
Thank you so much!
Here in Hastings east sussex we have had rain but it is warm we got rain again tomorrow love your dear dog love your video its the 21may to day

Moose Moose. Loved getting to see Freya
Let's add Goose Goose to that :)
Grand-uncles does not make you old! What's important is that you are part of a loving family. I always look forward to your Sunday episodes, but frequently do not finish watching them until mid-week. Hope you had a wonderful time in England!
Ooooo, love the flowers on the crochet tablecloth!
Love your fabrics!
Ooohhh you went to England and missed Constitution Day! Hope you had a fabulous trip and came back with all kinds of exciting new ideas! Can’t wait to hear all about it.
Happy Sunday! So glad to see beautiful Freja today. Glad she is still keeping everyone in line. 😂
The fabric line is gorgeous and I look forward to seeing it in person. Hope you have a wonderful week.! ❤🤗😘
Love my feel-good, guys. The material is awesome. Enjoy the travels.❤
Thank you!
I love how dedicated you are to your traditions
Arne, I LOVE this new piece you found at the thrift shop. I have just finished repainting an antique mirror in a red that is very similar to your F&B copper red. Please share a photo once you’ve hung your beautiful new piece. Please visit the Boston area again sometime. I would be happy to be your driver.
So glad that Freya perked up by the end!
Arne, it might be fun to have the beetle appear in the milkmaid piece.
I love all your fabrics. Hopefully I'll be able to find some to buy.
This "Christmas Rose and not quite Christmas Rose" seems to be another sort of Helleborus called "Spring Rose". There ar colours form burgandy to pink, white and lighr yellow. Very pretty!
It was good to see Freya, she does look very fluffy. You two have so many projects going at once, how nice to be so busy but you still have your fun time.
I love the wall color and the curtains.
I've always known the making of books with pictures collected and stuck onto pages as being called scrapbooking. Now it's also called scrapbooking to add things to pages with photos etc and making themed photo pages in albums.
I love the tablecloth!
Thank you!
You make me laugh..nearly fell of my chair onto my knitting needles again....dead lady's project and arne saying stitching as died..so funny😂😂😂😂😂❤
😍
I love your fabrics. The birds are sweet and the pine ones give. me Adirondack vibes. Your quilts are going to be spectacular. Can't wait to see them finished!
Happy Spring❤ Please share the name of the color wall behind you. I have seen this color in IKEA and so love it. Thank you for all you do in teaching and sharing about the fabric crafts we share worldwide . Wishing you JOY❤
Falu red or Falun red is a popular color for houses, especially in Sweden.
That piece from the thrift shop is so so cool, great find!
Yellow and cream will reflect the shades of the day better and make the room seem more welcoming and calming!
Thank you!
It was glorious in London today. I had a wonderful time walking around Greenwich Park.I love the wall colour.
Thank you!
Love the new fabrics!

Thrifting is fun! My mother grew up very poor during the Great Depression in the U.S.
She had an expression she always used “Use it up, wear it out, make it do, or do without!”
Making do is fun! My mother loved repurposing in very creative ways. She amazed me with her wonderful imagination and sense of style.
It is a lot of fun!
You are very creative, it's great.
Thank you!
Your thrift store find for above the door ornament is really cool!
I am looking forward to seeing the special stitch pattern you will add to the cross stitch pasture scene.
Will it be Freya, favorite clothes or clothes patterns, plant squiggles, candy wrappers, a relaxing chair or Barbie??? ¿Que será?😂
thank you😘
Doggie looks healthy, your shirts are nice combo and red background also good to look at. It's Sunday...I'm resting with Earl Grey my kitty. Purple irises everywhere ❤
Always lovely to see you both with a new video. And dear little Freya.
Ive been meaning to ask about your parents Carlos ? I hope theyre both well.
Safe return travels to the UK. Im sure Arne will WOW us with a thrift shop find 😂
❤❤❤
In german we say „Glanzbilder“, too, and we also say „Oblaten“. in the past every girl collected them !
LOL I have a show-type English Cocker Spaniel and she often has to wear a snood over her ears to keep them out of food or dirt... Not her favourite, but needs must when you have such long ears! I have also found a snood useful when grasses are very dry and there is a danger of grass awns getting into the ears (which has necessitated an operation in the past :(() - this has never been a problem in Switzerland but traveling in the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark after a warm spring, it became something of a nightmare with consequences for many months. So we'll be sticking with the snoods, no matter how odd they look!!
I remember your telling the story about Freja and the water mishap years ago. As I recall you said after that she wouldn't even "walk through a rain puddle." I felt bad for Freja but that really made me laugh. Happy trip to the UK!
Thanks for sharing with the people out here. I enjoy your videos.
Thank you for watching!
It sounds like what you are describing for Freya is the Happy Hoody.
Oh and enjoying cloudberry jam imported!
I love you both!! The new fabrics are so wonderful!! Arni, I love your hexi's!! Calos you and Arni are such great designers!!! I wish I could afford to buy your fabrics But we will see how much they will cost here in the US. I know that most fabrics that come from Europe are terribly expensive here, and I just can't afford them!! I have been thinking of somewhere else to live, it's only a dream, but I love Norway and how wonderful the people are and how you hold tight to your heritage!! I have lived in snow country here in the states and I am a mountain women!! I never minded the snow except when it got to 18 feet, that was a bit much!! I had a friend who would drive her snow plow to the house and clear the driveway!! I walked to work about 5 miles a day and sometimes my boss would bring me home!! If not I would just walk home in the snow!!! Mym kids were the world to me!! They are grown now and doing their own thing!! Anyway, Now that I have bored you, I will just say thank you both for the wonderful videos!! Oh before I forget, Have a wonderful trip to England and I look forward to seeing what new things you find!! Take care and have a blessed trip!!! Vicky from Michigan
Another enjoyable episode - thanks for sharing. ❤👍from Somerset UK
You guys are wonderful. I’m not a designer or amazing knitter but I am a pretty good spinner. You should let me spin your dogs wool. You will love knitting with that wild child wool.
Our niece puts those hats onto her field spaniels so they keep their ears out of their food. She calls them Snoods. Persevere, Freya will get used to it xx

Your new fabrics look lovely, congrats on a great new design venture. You all have so many wonderful projects you work on simultaneously, very inspiring. I watched this episode while starting my second Arctic Circle mitten, better late than never!
I used to have those paper scraps when I was a child growing up in England in the 60s/70s. We called it scrap-booking. Lovely to see Freya x

I’ve just watched a programme on bbc iPlayer called “Song of the Earth”. It is set in Norway and features an old man and his daughter experiencing Norway’s natural beauty. It is utterly transfixing. What a beautiful country you live in. I just thought I’d share that with you.
I can not wait for your new fabric line. I don't have a quilt shop close by, but I will find it on the internet. Thank you for sharing your adventures and talents.
