Thank you for showing us how you rope and store your onions and garlic. I have pinned this now for future use in the garden. Going back to my Mother Earth days has brought a tremendous amount of joy. Don't know why I got so far away from it. I think having to go to full time work out of the home had a lot to do with that. Retirement is wonderful!

Beautiful ropes, like giant jewellery! (There's a niche...) Useful technique, too, thank you - mine just ended up in plastic netting, so dull. Loved the goose footage! I had to recently help a group of young geese who were trying and failing to cross a busy road. I stopped the traffic and chivvied them over like a little Goose Girl.

That was fun to watch, I have always wondered how that was done. Never tried cause I never seem to get many onions. Do think am picking the right ones for our area. Or am doing something very wrong. Most likely both. Thanks for showing how it is done. This winter I will do a little more research for our area growing. It was so hot last year and this summer was in the 100’s where we live. So it was a challenge to get anything to grow. We got stuff like peppers and cucumbers and pumpkins some watermelons radishes potatoes, but our onions didn’t do well at all either so.😊

    Hello Kate,
that was such a nice video again. But maybe toooooooo short. Your onion and garlic braids look beautiful. Especially the color of the red is gorgeous. In many rural areas of Germany, braising onions is still a tradition today.
I'm very curious if your "runaway chickens" stay at home or not. We will see.
You mentioned in the video that you want to make Red Onion Marmalade from red onions. Do you make a video of it? That would interest me very much.
The suspended braids in the shed are a great treat for all summer work, are not they?
..... And hardly anyone can walk through the garden more majestically than your goose. "
I wish you many beautiful sunny garden days, of course with a cup of tea and your cats.
    Lovely wishes

It's not like you were being cruel to any of them!! Is Eileen still trying to attack you like she was for a while there or is she back to being mellow? She looked like she was quite mellow and obviously your there recording.
