    I have binge watched your videos all day, such lovely work. I am wondering what thickness the felt has that you use

      Thank you so much! It’s about 1mm give or take. Some come a little thicker from my manufacturer and some a little thinner.

    Hello! I happened by your video today. It was a great informative piece-thank you! You do mention, in the video, that you would link the 100% wool felt supplier and I'm not seeing it. May I have that information, please? So appreciative!

    Thanks for this! Do you happen to know whether Velcro sticks better to acrylic felt or wool felt? I'm trying to make a "felt board" for my kids that they can stick laminated illustrations to (with Velcro attached to the back). I tried flannel but it didn't work--the Velcro doesn't stick to it at all (I tried both sides just to be sure, lol). Thanks again.

      Hello! Have you tried just backing the laminated pieces with felt? As on the felt boards felt sticks to felt. Just curious if that would work! Or if they would be too heavy at that point? Unfortunately after that I haven’t tried to see if Velcro would latch well. But it’s worth a try. I would however try the wool blend or wool felt. While the acrylic version also have lots of fibers for the Velcro to stick to i would be worried once those fibers got pulled on a bit with Velcro that they wouldn’t go back in place.

    Hi. I am making sensory books with the cheaper felt. And I want to know how to hole punch it? I really had a hard time putting holes in the cheap felt.

      Hello Rose! How large of a hole are you trying to make? For small Holes, I use an Awl to poke through and then slide the material toward the base to make it larger. Still is a small hole though. For Larger clean holes I would suggest using a punch. They make leather hole punches that you can use a hammer to punch a clean hole through (like this one amzn.to/3L0738o . *Affiliate Link). Worth a try! Or the trusty tiny snip scissors by hand.

    I’m new to felt…I purchased some wool blend felt and as I’m working on it, the fibers are kind of getting fuzzy. What can I do to reduce that? TIA!

      Welcome to the fun! Clean sharp scissors will help! My white felt always seems to have lots of fibers even when it’s a clean cut. But ironing the felt first can help compress and put all those fibers in place. Sometimes I use a mini hair straightener on my petals if they are getting too fuzzy as well. Try that and let me know if that helps!

      @TheHardwoodForest  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Woah that’s crazy that it smells! What kind of felt is it? And is the smell coming from the paint or the felt? Sadly may have to just start over! Definitely shouldn’t smell!

      @@TheHardwoodForest polyester I think and It’s the paint but I tried 2 diff kinds of paint with the same felt and it smells bad still ): I asked someone in my neighborhood and they said the felt may be having a comical reaction and to buy wool felt instead but that also smells bad when painted ):
