Very well done. I'm doing a similar queen bed frame and adding more metal slats to support the center of the box spring foundation as the mattress manufacturer requests. You've already done that.
Please understand 5 am here no time to make bed, time to sleep but big noise-> can’t sleep so sleep on floor-> hurt back , no problem i get power i fix
Great video. Followed your plans and noticed one issue. In the video you state 2" wood screws and in the tutorial it says 2 1/2". It should be the 2". I'm glad I checked prior to screwing or I would have blown through the plywood face
The paint is Ivory White by Benjamin Moore in eggshell. If you don't have a Benjamin Moore store near you, Home Depot or Lowe's will both be able to match the colors in there lines of paint.
You could use 2x4's but we chose 2x2's because of the size, weight and look of them, plus they are about 1/2 the cost. Most of the bed's support is distributed across the slats.
I'm currently making this bed frame and I think I spotted a mistake. The 1x4 that goes on top of the headboard should be 82in, not 81in. (the math behind it: 4in post + 74in plywood + 4in post = 82in).
@@AngelaMarieMade ah that makes sense. I made a model of this bed in Sketch up but totally forgot about the real life dimensions after they clean up the boards. We even bought a new 1x4 thinking we had cut the 1st one it too short 😆 We still need to sand and do the pocket holes because we don’t have a workshop so we work outside and it’s been raining. I’m looking forward to the sun, warm weather and finishing this. ☺️
I feel like you're struggling hardcore drilling those pocket holes....maybe check your drill to make sure it's on the most powerful setting....or go buy a Milwaukee drill Lol

That's great, thank you!
Very good, thank you! Bed was making noises now no noises, appreciate it thanks you! No noise Gang like this comment😁😁😁 have a lovely evening!
XOXO
After I make Bed this comment will be valid okay?
Please understand 5 am here no time to make bed, time to sleep but big noise-> can’t sleep so sleep on floor-> hurt back , no problem i get power i fix
Great work! I am in the process of building a king size bed myself and am going to "borrow" some of your ideas.
That's great to hear, thank you!!!
Excellent!😍 But it will be inconvenient to wipe the dust from the bottom of the bed, there are a lot of stops.
Perfect project for my daughter’s bed. Thank you so much for the detailed tutorial!!
I hope she loves it!! :)
Wow! This turned out so beautiful! Love that you filmed the process😊
Thanks so much! 😊
Got more pilot wholes than an airliner convention!😂😂😂 love the end result though.
After priming. Lightly sand with 220 grit.
I'm thinking about doing this for my room it's so cute!
Thank you!!
Wow! Great job, and thanks for sharing. We're building our own bed and hace different plans, but I'd love to do this as a queen for our guest room
Great job I love it! Can't wait new projects from you.
Thank you! 😊 Definitely more to come...
That girl is so cute. I like the way she is. Gorgeous ❤️
That is very nice thank you for that information.
If you were to stain this instead, do you recommend a certain type of wood? Starting to research making a bed of my own and love your design!
No you can use any type of wood! I just used common wood/pine
Did you make this amd stain it? We want to stein, but I'm worried it won't look as good for done reason.
Beautiful Bed!! 😍
Thank you!! 😊
How would you change the measurement if you want the bed to be higher??
Just make the posts/legs longer
I love this bed frame. I would like written instructions.
Thanks!! You can go to the blog post link in the description box for the tutorial but I don't have build plans for this yet, unfortunately.
Beautiful
Thank you
Looks great!
Thank you!
Did you sand everything before priming and painting?
The 4 x 8 plywood came pre sanded but we sanded the other boards that would show except for the trim.
Do you think you could just make the headboard and attach it to an existing metal frame?
Yes, you could definitely do that!
Very good

Thanks for letting me know about the typo! I will update it in the post!!
For what part?
How thick is a window frame?
Angela please where can I find those 4x4s thanks.
You can find these at home depot, Lowe's or even a local lumber store might have them or be able to get. Make sure to get the untreated. Thanks!
I love your bedding!! Where did you get your quilt from?
I got it from Pottery Barn! I have it linked in my blog post: angelamariemade.com/diy-bedroom-makeover-reveal/
I love the bed. Any chance you have a queen size plan available?
Thank you!! Unfortunately we do not, you could adjust the measurements from the tutorial on my blog.
But what color is that black wall?
Black Panther by Benjamin Moore in eggshell
Thank you. I love the whole thing, down to the sheets. Expert level color layering!
ANGELA WHERE CAN I FIND THE PAINT PLEASE. THANS.

Why not use a 2x4 for the bottom side support? Seems like an easier and more stable approach than gluing together 2 2x2s.

Loved this! Where are your night stands from?
Thank you!! I actually made the night stands. I have a link to the video here: th-cam.com/video/VI0w3omchuo/w-d-xo.html
Loveeeeee thissssss
Thank you!!😀
How can I make that to a Queen size frame?
You would need to shorten the width and depth cuts to fit the dimensions of a queen. The height of the headboard and legs would stay the same.
Adjust the measurements to 60x80"
A cama ficou linda, mas não deve ser prática limpar em baixo dela com tanta madeira de sustentação.
How much for this project?
total cost with materials and paint/primer was $175
that would really depend on wood costs - it tends to shift.
@@AngelaMarieMade prices have gone up so much, I just tried to prices this out. It's from online so prices may vary but it came out about 250$- 290$
I like this but the Roomba would get stuck underneath because of all those bunch of support pieces. Otherwise i would totally build this bed.

The 4" posts are actually only 3.5" wide, it's an industry standard for a lot of wood and I'm not sure why.
