that is the problem with Singapore Government. When I went to Teochew, I realise all the Teochew Guys are doing businesses , opening up shops, build up companies everywhere... as young as in their 20s and they speak only teochew and mandarin. Look at Singapore, all the chinese kids speak english and end up becoming working class.

世界的那个角落都有潮州人。在海外的华人中掌控了大部分的经济。了不起！也许是和他们的信仰有关系。拜的是《祖师公》还有个组织叫《德教会》遍布全东南亚。上一代的华裔潮州商人都在会所里建立他们的生意网络。。。

It is all thanks to LKY. He cannot speak dialect, so he kill all dialects and forced people to speak only English and Chinese.
