These guys are the Metallica of song and dance at contempoary Powwow gatherings and celebrations and memorials. I'm am MESKWAKI and these crees are our long lost cousin's during the escape from fort as we migrated down Huron river and great lakes to Mississippi river then west to Tama Iowa. Other cousins are other sac and fox nations of Kansas and Oklahoma when part of the tribe wanted to surrender to reservations while the rest of us MESKWAKI decide to stay true to not letting any idy get these sacred bundles we are supposed to protect.
