My Name is Nikki Chauhan and I'm a full-time artist currently residing in California. I create abstract, modern, and contemporary art using acrylics and oils on canvas. I paint every single day, it makes me so happy to see people enjoying my art.
I was born in a small town in India where I spent most of my childhood creating small art and craft projects. I am also a character animation artist with a background in 3D animation and film-making. One of my films received a national student's film award in 2012 at a film festival in India. While I have been painting for many years, I formally started working as a full-time professional artist from 2012. It has been an incredible journey ever since.
I mix bold colors, brush strokes, and palette knives to create artistic textures on a variety of different subjects like cityscapes, landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, and folk arts and I have received appreciation for free-flowing, bold and vibrant colorful artwork.
I have done commissioned paintings for private individuals and produced artworks for companies too. I've shipped my artworks in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Italy, India, and Australia. I have met so many lovely people and art lovers that I feel blessed to have this creative outlet. Thank you for your interest in the artwork and for taking the time to know me.

Very beautiful! I'm making one now on a 16 x 20 canvas. I used nearly 4 oz. of texture paste and 2 oz. of Yellow Oxide paint. I don't have any gold leaf, but I have some metallic gold paint. I'm just waiting for the paste to dry.

I love it!! Question...is it pure 24k gold leaf or gold leaf imitation, hard to tell unless you zoom in very close and see the texture.

Its imitation gold leaf but i have used real leaf as well
