When I saw this, I thought to myself, now there's a perfect 1960's sportscar. Holy crap, this was made in the 1940'S???? In my 58 years, I have never seen such an Italian beauty. È cosi bello!! 🥰🥰
I'm absolutely speechless. What a wonderful film. The essence of modern motoring, post war Italy (and the craftspeople of the next 80 years) have produced art as great as anything from the Renaissance.
A wonderful story and thank you. Beautifully shot and produced, it's a reminder of the great joy to be had in classic cars and especially the wonderful characters who were there back in the day (such as the incomparable Delio Galassi). Much appreciated and cheers from Sydney - David
Stra bello. Grazie
Same stunning design as the 1953 Maserati A6GCS. Also by Pininfarina. Cars of today will never be as elegant as in that period when regulations where non existent. Very nice video. Complimenti!
Bologna, 7 Churches monumental area, piazza Santo Stefano, just 500 meters from San Giovanni in Monte church. Inside the building a great Raffaello's painting is hidden but free to visit. Italy is full of hidden gems (and gelato, "cremeria S.Stefano" not far either)
Automobile Splendida! Cordiali saluti. 😊
As Pininfarina's first major success, just a year before Enzo Ferrari could put his own name on his own cars and work with Battista, it's possible to argue that every front-engine Ferrari owes its shape to the Cisitalia 202... and indeed, most other front-engine sports cars around the world do, too. Very cool to see a 202 being celebrated like this.
A monumental design and one of a few of my favorite designs. I was thrilled to finally see one at the Blackhawk museum near Danville, California. This was the first ever car to be featured @ MOMA. Thanks mucho for this exquisite video.
What an incredibly beautiful car. But what I don't understand is why there aren't more cars like this today. Many modern cars are so ugly - so why haven't their manufacturers not learned from the past ?
In the 50th Zagato built two Spider on the chassis of the 1900. One is in one hand since nearly 50 years the second disappeared completely. Three recreations are known of which I own one. In fact it seems the only one wich is religable and regularly driven (th-cam.com/video/Z25u__5VqnQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vpl3UeMgiLO7iQUW) after we restaurated the complete technique of the vehicle. The paint was not touched so it has a very charming patina. The second of this kind is offered in Belgium as a restaurations object for 195.000,- The third one known is in Germany, concour condition but with technical problems and was sold for 295.000,- about five years ago.
Where are the bumpers?. Delivered back in time without is impossible...and watch the old photos. The beauty is only complete with its original bumpers.
A wonderful film for a wonderful car. Was it the inspiration for the Fiat 8V? I hope it does not just sit in a museum with the occasional concours show. It should be driven, that's why it was born.
Beautiful videography but I don't understand. Why are there no closed captions in English? How am I supposed to understand the story if I don't speak Italian?
@@williamsongarrett1When I saw it, it had English subtitles, as it does now! ....... But hey, learn the Italian language, its easy! Italian is a Latin based language as is about 45% of modern English. look for cognates.

I love it. Absolutely stunning! I hope to see one some day. This is by far one of the most beautiful cars ever made. Thank you.
Breathtaking.
Genesis of the Grand touring car.
This car is so much more beautical than any modern car made today. Nothing even comes close! When did designers lose their mojo?
What a beauty this work of Italian art has become again ❤
Beautiful piece of art, what an absolutely stunning looking automobile oh those door handles are pure art form and function.
Love to see films and stories like this! What a labor of love. 😊🏁

Have to visit this rolling masterpiece at the LA MOCA!
Very evocative production...thanks for creating and sharing.. credit to everyone involved in the restoration...from uk
One absolutely beautifully restored piece of art.
Bellisimo! Thank you for this. Beautiful car. Incredibly beautiful presentation. Sensitive, passionate, and reverential.

Spectacular !.
Not sure which is more beautiful -- the car or the empty square at sunrise, but the two of them together are breathtaking.

Meraviglioso. GRAZIE
Bello! Molto bello. Mille grazie.
Stupenda! Mitica! Solo in Italia questa bellezza e questa grandezza!
Che meraviglia e quanta passione.
I loved !!
Greetings from México !!
Beautiful film for a truly beautiful car - magnificent !
The car is wonderful, but the video is pure art ❤❤❤
Marvelous
jewel
Wonderful. What a beautiful car. Many thanks for this documentary.
Great story! Amazing car. I have Dusio's house for sale in Piemonte so have put your video on my Website. Thanks!!

I only buy/drive British cars, but even I have to concede that is a beautifully proportioned car. Very handsome.
I hope this stunning car was not in LA during the recent fires!
What a piece of rolling sculpture! Molto Bella! Such a representation of fine craftsmanship!
Bellissimo reportage. Bravissimi tutti ❤

Cis is a Latin prefix for "On this side" ....I will add "Of perfection"

Un’auto Michelangiolesca!
I will hope that this movie is not old: The car has its new home in LA. Do you think of what I' m thinking😮🤒

Goodness no! Bumpers would disrupt the lines terribly. It’s already an old car with limited safety. Screw the bumpers. They won’t help you anyway.
Poetry in motion ❤
👏

Compare this work of automotive art to the hideous monstrosities of today!
sending it to california ? ugh..
Right hand drive?
Why is is right hand drive?
Beautiful videography but I don't understand. Why are there no closed captions in English? How am I supposed to understand the story if I don't speak Italian?
The subtitles have been added (they are quite small). It is a wonderful language Italian and not that difficult to follow.
Learn to understand, you do not need to speak it.
@@MassimoDegliEredi exactly how does one learn to understand without having subtitles to understand it? 🤣

Thats great. Lovely. But there are plenty of beautiful milky Italian cars from the 1950's and 60's. Explore..
Sad to see it go up in flames in LA. It should stay in Italy.
italian car in italia with RHD of UK shame you 🤢🤢🤢🤢🤣🤣🤣🤣
