Love this conversation. I've been playing in a Hârn campaign since 2016, I have multiple player characters, and we've been all over Kanday. Our groups have gone to Dyrisa, Edino, Ibonost, Sarkum and tons of small towns. I think Hârn is my favorite campaign setting I've ever played in, and I have loved our campaign based mostly in western Hârn. It's funny that Tamys Bakyth got a shout out in this video. Bakyth was the nemesis of my character Sârnimiréa Risfuin, and ultimately she prevailed over him (he is now deceased in our campaign). He is definitely one of the more memorable NPCs, lol. One of my characters is a Laranian knight, Dame Vahala of Alandis from Aleath, but ironically our groups have never actually traveled to Menekod or Aleath (though Vahala has received correspondence and orders from Syman Tolfane). Dame Vahala's group has recently liberated Fort Themeson from the Agrikans there, and as a result Themeson is now part of the Tharda Republic in our game. Dame Vahala was put in charge of a half-chapter house of Laranians at Themeson, and a new temple of Larani is being built on the site of an old Peonian temple there. It's only 722 in our campaign, so we've been busy. 😁 I wish somebody would build these Hârn locations in Unreal Engine, I wish I had the skills to do that.
Backed the kickstarter, always thought Kanday is THE best kingdom IMHO. Only thing I am going to miss in the hardback from the older Kingdom module is the history maps for each previous petty Kingdoms before they joined Kanday!
Brent: Thanks for the preview, much appreciated, life cut into giving some feedback, but happy with the "extras" Kerry: Loved you Sarkum series (People etc.) and the Ezars War fanon article, should have been included IMHO, but would have unbalanced the bookshelf row ;) Richard: eyes on the world need to be seen from different angles. The angle of the Harbourmaster entering Aleath harbour is a fav
As a bit of feedback, it would be nice for long term customers to have a bit of choice of what to pick as your early bird bonus, or the ability to exchange them for something you don´t own. I know its a "bonus" and the market advantages of ordering form the kickstarter, but its frustrating when by chance you already own them already. It isn´t a fair business application, to reward some customers, and others not, by chance like this. I´m looking forward to Kanday, already owning the other books in the series...
great show in depth discussion i am new to this thanks
These conversations are great! Thanks so much for doing this. I Can’t wait for the next one, and am so excited to hear about future books!
Nice to see a video on Harn again. Great game. More please? Maybe Golatha?.
