The 10-year anniversary celebration of Transmissions continues! A remix of Down With The Fallen was highly requested, so viola. As most of my remixes are, it's sort of experimental in nature, so I hope everyone likes it. And, yes, I'll be doing a piano tutorial video for TokSik; I've had several people ask if that's coming, and I can assure you it'll be out soon.
Fantastic!
Ten years of GREATNESS
Throwing in a hidden Downplay tribute. Genius Clockworkk!!
Thank you so much! You found that reference super fast, I'm very impressed. :D
Down With The Fallen was already my favourite from Transmissions but this made me so emotional. I've been going through a tough time recently and been listening to the real version a lot. I didn't think it was possible to turn this song into something so beautiful whilst still keeping the heavy-ish element at the same time. So thank you for making my life a little bit better temporarily 💙
I'm really happy to hear that I brought a little light to your day, my friend, and I hope things improve for you very soon. We live in a really difficult world, so please don't hesitate to reach out to someone if you need help, or even just someone to talk to. You don't have to sail through this storm alone, always remember that.💙
Awesome! You did great!
Thank you so much! :D :D
OH MY GHOSTS!!
This is so epic!!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it! :D :D
@@FireflyProductions Of course!!
Love this 🖤
Thank you, glad to hear it! :D
I never knew this song was originally a Downplay track! Thanks so much for the easter egg in the bridge!
Also, calling it "Lost Elysium" is a nice parallel to the idea of the song, that of being lost/trapped on this world while hoping for another (or at least a way out).
Yep! After Downplay went on indefinite hiatus, Starset became the primary project for Dustin and Ron, and they ended up using songs that were originally going to be released under Downplay. I thought some might appreciate that little callback! :D
I definitely agree, I've always gotten that impression from this song, it's a song of mourning and longing for something lost. "Lost Elysium" is also a nod to the lyrics "I have seen an empire falling." Very perceptive of you to notice, and thanks for the awesome comment! :D❤️❤️
Excellent.
Many thanks!
Can you make the next song Frequency or Point of no return?
I've really been wanting to do Frequency, so that's definitely one that's coming. We're doing a bit of a Transmissions celebration, so I can't say for sure it'll be the very next one, but I'll definitely be doing that one. Point Of No Return is Transmissions, and that has potential to be an excellent next remix. I'll definitely work on that one, thanks for the suggestion! :D

Many thanks! :D
Another banger remix. Very well done.
Thank you so much! :D :D
Where are those lyrics from? The ones that start with barricades 3:04
I FOUND IT!! So Dustin had a band before STARSET called Downplay and “Down With The Fallen” is actually originally one of their songs.
Breaking through the barricade
(War!)
Unafraid of what's to come now
(This is war!)
Fight the fear that I evade
(War!)
Can you hear me calling?
@@cosmicchaos9939 oh ok thanks!
That's correct! I remember you saying you had some homework to do on those lyrics in the live chat during the premiere; you found that really quickly! Yeah, it's a little Downplay easter egg, I thought a lot of people would enjoy that callback. :D :D
