I know people talk a lot about dressage and the misuse of tack in dressage but it is thoroughly depressing to see so many spurs and leverage bits in a sport in which you can go bitless and spurless, i know it's rider preference but I wish less riders used spurs in this sport they aren't necessary for jumping.
Yeah everyone is takling about abuse in dressage, spurs, and bit’s in dressage, but never in jumping! Agree with the bit, but spurs isn’t always abusive. If you ride correct with them, they aren’t abusive. But if you ride with spurs, don’t give signals like you normally do, you have to be “calm” with your feet. Sorry if this sounded rude to anyone.
Roger Yves Bost was the one I almost said out loud that somebody should take him dom immediately. His yanking and the extreme style of the bridle is nothing than animal cruelty. You can clearly see how the horse says no, but is overridden. I don't see why he was allowed to compete further.
There is a version of this called the Hunters where it is all just precision and jumping with extreme technique. However, as someone who is a hunter jumping is always more fun to watch because it’s big jumps and the timing gives it more stakes.
Good! By the way, whether you realize it or not, there is Christianity in Harry Potter. For instance, there are 7 books in the series. The number 7 is a Biblical number that stands for completion. Also, one of the symbols of one of the houses at Hogwarts is a Lion. And as we all know, the symbol for Slytherin house is a Snake. That symbolizes the struggle between Good and Evil. With the Lion symbolizing God and the Snake symbolizing Satan , aka, the Devil. So, there’s Devine Intervention in Harry Potter! I believe that God was using J.K. Rowling, one of His Daughters, to keep His people on the Straight and Narrow. Despite the witchcraft in Harry Potter, I believe God is intervening in the story to help people realize and understand that even though there’s Evil in this World, we must stick to Him like glue! We must repent of our sins through His Only Son, Jesus Christ, and come into a Relationship with The Godhead (God The Father, Jesus The Son, and The Holy Spirit.). Furthermore, I believe that the fictional characters in Harry Potter represent Christian teachings in some way. For example, the Friendship between Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, could represent The Godhead. And, Sirius Black was around the sane age Jesus was when He was crucified on The Cross for our sins. And, there are many, many other examples of the characters in Harry Potter representing Christian doctrines and teachings. So, remember, Beloved in Christ, we must repent for our sins, and stuck to God like glue! Go now, and spread The Good Word to all Pitterheads, and God Bless you all!

Idiotic comments by non-horsepeople who couldn't walk a course or ride a horse to save their own skins.
Totally agree, spurs are unnecessary and seen a few top rank riders jump bitless before so definitely more than possible
