  • What is Stimming?
Stimming is any behaviour that is self-stimulating.
We often use the word Stim for short.
    What does it look like?
Stimming can be any repetitive physical action such as:
    Dancing
    Bouncing
    Doodling
    Chewing
    Rocking
    Spinning
Basically, anything that feels good = there is no wrong way to stim!
    What are Stim Toys?
Stim toys are objects that a person can use to stim.
    Such as:
    Bands
    Bracelets
    Pens
    Smell Jars
    Chewy Jewelry
    Fidget Spinners and Cubes
Honestly, anything can be a stim toy.
    How does it help?
    Stimming helps us:
    Focus
    Clam
    Reset
    Cope
    Feel Good
    and is quite simply vital!

I know people that are sad about plastic straw bans as they chew on them too and one day they won’t be able to anymore.
