The one here's the Gurkha Xtreme model whereas the new Gurkha is the facelift version of Gurkha Xplorer.
There're 3 versions of Gurkha: Xplorer, Xpedition & Xtreame. Force motors has not launched the facelift model of Gurkha Xtreme which is the most powerful of its siblings. The previous Gurkha Xplorer came with a 2.6l engine (bs4) and 85hp. The newly launched Gurkha Xplorer comes with same engine (bs6) with 91 hp. So yes, there's an increase on power output.
But if you compare the new one with Gurkha Xtreme (140hp) then the former would definitely lag behind.

It's a shame Force doesn't make the xtreme anymore. It had solid front axle, coild spring all around and diesel engine that made 140 bhp and 321nm torque. It was a proper offroader. Better than the thar.
