      You think I should pick up a used one with 51,000 miles? It's in great condition.

    Now that all the 2018 36-month leases are coming back and the dealerships are CPO-ing them, ive been watching the old vids of when they were new lol
    Not a bad deal, the ones ive seen at my local MB dealership are in the 28K-34K mile range, for $44K-50K.

    Just bought a 2017 GLE 350 a couple weeks ago and so far I’ve been happy with it. The quality is still there at 60k miles and I’m glad Mercedes simplified the naming structure of their SUVs.
    So with the GL (whatever letter), the third letter runs along the sedan counterpart. So the GLE is like the E class SUV just like the GLC is like the C class version and the GLS, so on and so on.

      Does your GLE350 have LED headlights? Mine got the halogen version i hated so much recently replaced them with aftermarket LED bulbs I couldn't be happier.

      @@brianl9944 mine have the regular halogen but did end up buying the best halogen bulbs I could possibly find to replace the halogen bulbs that were in them and have been pleased with them. I put in Sylvania Zxe golds in them

    • @brianl9944

      @@JonathanMoosey checked amazon they sell at $65/pair... that's twice more expensive than the aukee h7 leds that give you super bright white lights probably way brighter than any halogen and will last much longer... no comparison

      @@brianl9944 I’m about to do the same for my 2018 GLE, did you have to purchase an adapter to attach the LED lights to make them fit or are they already compatible?

    I love it! Especially when it has the spare tire!!! This is my car but prefer it in white and without the sunroof and the rest is fine how it is.

    Mine is a ML350, as they called them in 2014. Now at 90000 km. Very pleasing experience. I usually change car every other year. This time I will wait for the 2019 version - simply because of the strange looking, and propably dangerous, screen stickning out from the dashboard. Yes, I now, that is an MB-signum theese years, but even MB realizes the mistake and changes that througout all models now. My dealer is informed and will order my GLE350 2019 as soon as that becomes possible.

      Dw if a pothole messes up the suspension, simply call 311 and file a claim against the monkey contractor who was supposed to fix it

    NYC needs to start paying drivers for all the damages the roads is doing to their cars. There should be a law that allows citizens to sue their f-ing city for damages of their vehicles by bad roads. I have the 2015 ML350 4Matic and was debating wether or not I should get this newer model. Still debating. FYI. The pulsating is a lane departure warning feature.😊

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      everyone up here accepts the blown out roads, mega high taxes and cost of living it is like society is programmed to only accept the worst and deal with it, this is a huge SUV market mostly and this is why nobody cares about the roads i guess.

    Unfortunately you don’t seem to know what a ML drives like, I have a 2014 and it’s pretty smooth, Rock Solid, it’s not meant to be sporty, you can always buy the AMG if you need more

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      the AMG is marginally better and this review is based on the busted NYC roads we drive on all vehicles will drive differently based on geographic location and road conditions.

      Your right, it´s the facelift 2016 model. The new one - W167 - may be in market at the end of 2018 or in spring 2019. Of course it´s a great SUV. I drive a Mercedes-AMG GLE 43 4MATIC.

    Looking to purchase a sporty SUV. What did you mean when you said old MB that would shake it self apart?

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      NYC roads will shake the crap of most cars apart quick, rattles, creaks, suspension failures, rim and tire blow outs you name it. This is why i say this GLE is a good SUV the chassis is strong enough to handle the rigors of NYC without a hitch. Check out the GLE43 its a nice sporty SUV, good motor and good chassis unless you want to step into a new Macan or Cayenne.

    • @jpena315
      @jpena315 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Funny I just watched your E coupe review and I understand what you mean. I drove a GLE last week end and it wasn't cheap. Decently optioned it was mid 7's

    • @jpena315
      @jpena315 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually live on long Island and I commuted to NYC everyday in a audi a3 and trust me I know uncomfortable. I'd love a GLE 43 but they're well over a thousand a month.
      I see how much you hated the e coupe what other rides do you recommend considering paying about 6-800 a month?

    • @autofanaticcars
      @autofanaticcars  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      yeah Mercedes does not cut deals like the import cars thats for sure, they quoted me $1250 for a GLE43 with 8k out of pocket, its a premium for sure. that E Coupe was the biggest POS ever. Il be doing a new 2018 S Class review in a few weeks when a client takes delivery.

      I gotta say it does ride well and in NYC that is the true test, this GLE blows away the older ML models from inception.

    • @OMGWTFLOLSMH
      @OMGWTFLOLSMH 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn't watch the entire video, sorry. Did this one have the Airmatic suspension? Wouldn't buy an MB without one, now that I own an S-Class with Airmatic. It is a superb ride, and the main reason I bought the car.
