It sounds like there might be a compatibility issue between your satellite speakers and TV. Have you tried adjusting the settings on your soundbar or TV?
ARC is called Audio return channel which is basically for audio information. You can use that for Sound bar speakers system that has HDMI ARC etc. HDMI OUT is basically the output for a device using a HDMI OUTPUT

Same issue. Need to removed set top box cable every. TV is not smart enough to identify hdmi ARC and HDMI 😡😡
