NC500 custom e-bike cycling June 2024

I took on the NC500 Scottish Higlands coast route on my custom e-bike for charity. 508 miles, 28000 ft elevation, 7 days!
Unable to do this route without the motor assistance due to the time I had to complete it and a dodgy knee after my last long cycle coast to coast from Norfolk to Somerset, but I'm so glad I did it! The weather was kind (apart from Baelach ne ba where I couldn't see anything and a few showers and head winds along the way on the last 3 days), the midges were not out to party and it's without doubt, the most stunning cycle route you could imagine! I'm not a fan of cities, so I started and ended in Lochcarron on the west coast, I also avoided the A9 on the east coest coming south, so instead, after John o' Groats, cycled down the middle of the highlands past Laird to Dingwall.
