Salmon Fishing On The River Dee August 2023

A few days fishing the upper Dee, a spate at the start of the week brought some pods of grilse up the river disturbing a few resident sea trout and salmon too!

its very frustrating losing fish especially when you've been bent into them for 2 or 3 minutes and done nothing wrong, but we just have to hope the next one stays on! lovely video on a beautiful water 👍🏼

That’s salmon fishing, I think if you get half the fish you hook to the bank, you’re doing ok
