- And we are 1 of the first to try it! After a morning walk around The Island we head off into Cardiff City Centre for an essential shopping trip. Then back to Barry Island for some delicious food...

Looking at the fish shop and seeing where I worked for many seasons in another fish bar across the road back in the late 70's and 80's . You looked through the window and caught Whites cosy corner lovely. The old wood and tin shack across the road. Good luck to Finnegans fish and chip shop. Hope you have many happy years serving the public some great food.

I ❤️ The Dudgies it’s brilliant I know Barry so well I’ve been going here for 50 years I was all over Butlins I was delighted when Vernon Studz asked me to give him a hand. I was working so I could only do my bit at the first weekend. I am so proud of what the Danter family have done and transformed it it’s amazing. I have a pal who does my washing I pay her well because she is really good. I would love a have you got the bottle shirt I will order I never go back on my word but this sh...t about the scooter makes me laugh so much I live a mile from the Mumbles and skateboarders and scooters torture my dog as soon as the Covid allows me up to Barry and we see you on that stupid scooter I will be masking myself and it’s going to be hysterical let’s see you doing one mile let alone 100 with Riley my collie chasing you it’s a given mate I will video it myself and share.....run or cycle with Mrs.D I’m 59 and enjoy cycling with my dog apart from the scooters.Trainers are okay m8 🎩
I used to enjoy running, but I have trouble with my hips & some days I'm in pain just walking. This was the reason I bought the scooter. It's given me my freedom back 😉👌
