    Hello Andreas! Thanks you for providing such good videos! I have project in mind, and I need to transmit data inside a filled grain bin, which technology would you suggest? Max distance would be around 15m, small packets around 8bytes every minute. Power consumption is a concern, running out of a 2000mAh 3.7V battery, lasting for at least 1 year. Is LoRa suitable?

    Hi Andreas, I've been thinking about putting some sort of "car alarm" system together. I would work with a notification system via cellular. Except that I often park my car in remote area while I go fishing. These areas do not have cellular coverage at all. So I am thinking that LoRa might be a good fit?
    Unless there's something better out there for this specific use case? I am just expecting to receive message alerts with the sensors being triggered by the security system. (No need for large amount of data like video or images)

    Want to ask if the gateway is built with Raspberry Pi, can it recieve data from a (arduino+LoRa) node?

    Hello Andreas i want to build a communication between ESP32 and Raspberry Pi using Lora did you have any experience regarding this?

    • @AndreasSpiess
      @AndreasSpiess  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most TTN gateways use a Raspberry. So there is communication between an ESP32 and a Pi. However, without LoRaWAN I am not sure you find LoRa software for the Pi. So you have to write your own.

      Maybe somebody already did it? Did you check the TTN or Helium coverage map?

    Dear Andreas, How can I check received data in Raspberry Pi from LX Terminal? Thanks for your support. Grettings from Medellin Colombia

      This is an old video. So I do not remember well. I think you should see it in the log of the running packet forwarder.

    Hi! Up to how many nodes this gateway can support? Thanks

    • @AndreasSpiess
      @AndreasSpiess  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on how often the nodes transmit and for how long. Maybe 10 nodes should work ok.
