It sounds peaceful, but at the same time you can feel that something isn't right. As if it was a bad dream, as if you were trapped in a fake peaceful town, an illusion of the mind. Which, I believe, is what Laguna is going through at the beginning of Disk 2.
This... and the Luma theme... maked me cry more than I should my whole life everytime I heared them... ...it's still truly beautiful on how peoples are so able to infuse so much intense feeling in just one piece of music...
The way laguna panics at the idea that this peaceful existence of his would end He doesn't even want to tell the people of the world about it because hes afraid it'll be disrupted and it would change forever which is a contradiction to his desire to explore the world and write about the world to the people
Somehow this piece of music from Final Fantasy VIII manages to make me think of all the regrets that live in my heart⏳👀😔….definitely my favourite Final fantasy game though. #Melancholy

今振り返るととんでもなく重厚なストーリーでびっくりする。現代と過去の話をここまでうまくクロスオーバーさせているゲームや作品ってなかなかない。
DISC2の最初にしか出てこないけど、レインの存在ってすごい重要だよな
ラグナ編ってほんとすごい
全プレイ時間のほんの一部なのにこんなに印象深く記憶に残ってるもん

disk2の初めが個人的にffで１番泣けるところです。
温かい幸せをこれでもかってぐらい感じるし、この曲がさらに涙腺を刺激してくる。
あと、ffの女性キャラではレインが１番好きです。
